I have problem. I like webcams very much. Porn wasn't enough for me. I like one website with random girls. I try talking normal with girls, but often I masturbating and they don't even masturbating too. They only watching. I really like that, but I want better life without fap. Anyone know some other activites? I am really bad with that. Even workout or books didn't help me, because I always thinking about jerking to webcams.
We will always be driven back to what produces high dopamine . Your goal of it is a problem should be to weaken the dopamine traction . Time lots of time
I do lot of things. I started also running and play video games. I think about start do something with cooking or gardering.
I don't know, in a few minutes I will have a fifth day when I don't fap so it helps somehow. The problem is, I still think about masturbating to the webcam. Soon I will think that I am prone to exhibitionism.
Okay so it sounds like your issue is dealing with the urges and feelings you get. You have good habits, but you haven't necessarily learned to deal with the phenomenology of emotion. In other words, the emotions as they happen in real time. Do you often have spikes of negative emotions like shame, embarrassment, anger, or something similar?
It's actually quite easy. You basically just set a 5-20 minute timer (start lower and slowly increase) and do you best to count your breaths. Inhale, 1, exhale 2, inhale 3, up to 10. Then start over from 1. Do this until the timer goes off. What you'll find is that you keep getting lost in your thought! Most people think meditation is about clearing your mind, when in reality it's about realizing you can't. The point of meditation this kind of meditation is to train your mind to focus in on your breathing. Each time you realize you're lost in thought and return your attention to your breathing, you are winning. When emotions arise, memories arise, thoughts about the day or yesterday arise, you just return yourself to the breath. Over time you'll find that you are less moved this way and that by your thoughts and emotions. It takes about 8 weeks to begin seeing real neurological change, but as an 7 year meditator I can tell you it is more than worth it!
overcoming webcam addiction is definitely not an overnight thing. It will take time. Until you get better, you can try to keep busy with other things that you like to do: hobbies and activities. I like playing video games. I keep away from video games that have women in them because I feel the video game industry depict women in an unreal lustful way for money. Sometimes I talk with my sister and cousins.
