As our crucified, glorious Jesus, who has risen from the death, proved: Pain is temporary, Victory is forever.

Therefore I fight this battle for the God. If God himself did not avoid the pain to save us, it is our turn to accept pain when it is a way to God.

I know, a sportsman made this quote of pain is temporary, but it fits perfectly to us fighting / struggling Christians, doesn't it
