Hey guys I came across this page of articles and tips when I first started my reboot, and again a few days ago. I thought I should share it with everyone. It perhaps has been more beneficial for me than any website in my life.

If you ever have questions about stuff, definitely ask in here to get some honest and specific advice, but Your Brain on Porn has some great stuff on their site. I use it all the time. It's curated by sexual health professionals, including one man who some would call the leading figure in porn addiction, Gary Wilson. While it's not tailored exactly for sP, it's articles about induced fetishes, anxiety, shame, and problematic sexual behavior fit hand in hand with many of the problems and dysfunctions guys in this group have.

YBOP has basically verified the ability of a reboot to help cure PIED, DE, PE, and other sexual dysfunctions in males, all while waning them off their porn addictions. They know the reboots work. Additionally, YBOP recognizes that reboots and recovery will look different for different people. Your reboot's style, rules, length, and success will vary widely from guy to guy, but every guy who does the right reboot for himself recovers.

Most importantly, in my opinion, is that YBOP also recognizes that the reboot is not the only thing that helps addicts recover from their addiction. YBOP encourages removing sexual items and imagery from your life, reconnecting with real people in a non sexual/sensual context, stopping the conscious and subconscious objectification of your preferred sex, rewiring your brain to real sexual contact/people after the reboot, and filling the hole left by PMO with positive activities, just to name a few. There are an incredible amount of actions and ideas that help guys recover more fully and live their best lives. Each one has personal accounts of guys who have taken these actions and seen them make their lives and reboots more successful. Guys who commit to "rebooting" not just their dicks, but their entire lives, have much shorter reboots, find them much more easy to finish, and have greater success with sex and life when the reboot is over.

My favorite thing though about the site is that all the accounts and messages they have of guys who have tried to get rid of their porn addictions are positive or have happy endings. There are obviously stories of failures and setbacks. These are good to read because we can learn from the mistakes of others. In everyone of these stories though, the individuals are able to pick themselves up and recover. I have seen articles of guys who say their reboot is taking too long, or it didn't work very well, or it's too hard. Yet every single time, it ends with recovery and a more fulfilling life, sexually and in general. YBOP has incredibly positive vibes everywhere you go, and is all about making your current situation better, no matter how bad it currently is or how many times you've failed. Believing in yourself the way YBOP believes in you will ultimately get you through your reboot and bring you to full recovery.

I really encourage anyone and everyone to sit down for a while and look through all the links on that page. If you feel an article has a chance of applying to you or your recovery, have a read, because it probably does, and wouldn't hurt to look. I've found answers to 85% of my reboot questions on that page. Understanding PA and sPA has given me clarity in my mind on the matter, allowed me to plan for tasks and challenges of the reboot, and given me the wisdom to know what actions and choices I must make in critical times. Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to PA. Take in as much information as possible, and use it all to your advantage. Hesitance to acknowledge/learn about your situation and how to deal with the challenges you face is only hurting yourself.

I hope this helps everyone as much as it helps me. Have a nice weekend everybody

Agreed. YBOP has been very helpful to my withdrawal. Without it I might not have been able to get to this point and get set up for a hoped for recovery from the root causes.
