Today I will abstain from POM because I owe it to Allah, my family, and all of the brothers and sisters in this Ummah who struggle with POM
I have battled this for a year and a half now, I'm laying down the sword, I'm throwing in the towel, good luck to all of you still going!
youre giving up just like that, at least make a commitment to fight this curse until you die. Then when you do die, youll know you never gave up!
What works for me (a recommendation), no drugs (almost 20 months clean and sober), NO PMO, no nicotine, no excess sugar, caffeine, eat healthy, sleep well, excercise, read a book, im reading about the buddha, and practising meditation, ethical conduct, etc.
Two days on and I still don't understand why I relapsed, when will I learn. Inshallah I can remain stationed.
Good question, though! I always ask why, the answer(s) being among the main keys to long-term success. For we need new levels of awareness. We also need new goals to guide and inspire us.
Keep reminding yourself of the purpose you started this. If you get past this you are going to get stronger. if you work out it's like the last hard repetition of a set. Just push through and do not give up. I relapsed at this very point so I know it does not feel good if you give in. Plan a very busy day for yourself. Hope that helps! Good Luck!
16th day, I have further radicalized my computer by placing stickers which face me with the following writing, "I love Allah", UR thoughts?
I didnt have to do anything like that. I just stop using it when I know im losing it. Get in company etc.
You are my inspiration to at least to be out from red zone trap, big time!! Hope you keep your feet on the ground, always on war mode 24/7!!
Wow didn't know you are doing well so far to stay out of red zone, keep strong and humble, don't get complacent, may Allah bless you my brother
Withdrawal symptoms are there my brother, no urges for the past couple of days but I have the flu, maybe it's just the flu xD Alhamdulila
Grateful for? 1. Allah has blessed me with life 2. Allah has blessed me with Islam 3. Allah has blessed me with the support of brothers here
@2525 There are some good habits I can implement from this list man, cheers! May the almighty reward you for your help.
@HealthyAbe Dude, that is inspiring man, I am going to do my best bro, I'll stick with it man, I know that this is just POM trying to fight for a place in my life.
@Wizitushkid, Oh man, I feel you! I will push on man, these are also beautiful reminders! That is so true, it would suck to lose 288 hours of progress

"Those who show real patience are most dear to the Almighty. Giving up is not in their vocabulary. They struggle & strive for His sake."
