40 year old male. Addicted since my late teens. Looking to reboot with 90 day PMO challenge. Will post my success.
Hi there & welcome! What sort of analysis have you done of your triggers & what are you putting in place to ensure you have the best chances of success? It's often good to share these with other members, to identify any holes, areas where we can improve our methodology etc. You can certainly recover, but it will take putting some key things in place. Strength! T22.
I actually had to get therapy to try and deal with the addiction, but then backslid when that stopped. I'd say the mistake I made in the past is that I didn't know about the no PMO option. So I quit the P but not the M+O. Inevitably looking at pictures of women in bikinis then lead back to the hard stuff. It seems the PMO reboot is best. I was told about classic triggers; boredom, good news/bad news, loneliness, etc. The hardest trigger for me is always being alone in front of a laptop. So now I don't have a laptop at home - leave it at work.
