How would you define P-Subs during your NoFap journey in general?

Is it just stimulation of sex which is not explicit or hardcore? Or anything that is fetish to your perspective in particular?

Try doing 7 days clean and if the content gives you an adrenaline rush then its a p sub. In truth we all know what a p sub is, this is just an attempt to justify what we are doing. Be honest to yourself because engaging p m or o keeps the addiction pathways alive and thereby keeps the risk for relapse high. Also, you'll have a slower recovery if you are still getting dopamine doses from the raunchy pics.

I'm not sure that there is a black-and-white definition of what is a PSub and what is not. There does not even seem to be consensus on how to treat them (e.g. relapse, reset, ...) For me they are a sliding scale: at one end might be photos of attractive women, in the middle might be swimwear, then near the dangerous end would be underwear ads or sex scenes in mainstream movies. But you are right to include the word 'fetish'. I can feel my spidey senses tingle when we're watching a film or TV programme and there's a female character lounging around in her underwear.

I will try to help by explaining how I felt starting nofap and now. When I started I was still deep in the addiction. The resolution for change was largely driven by will power (which we know is not sufficient by itself in the nofap journey) and at this stage my brain always tried to find ways to get some part of the addiction. I found p subs and spent time consuming these. Heck, I even peeked at p on many occasions and tried to make posts here suggesting that avoiding m and o was still effective. People struggle with different parts of this, some claiming they only have a m addiction or a p addiction so they can justify doing the other. Remember, as a healthy adult you do not need that level of p m or o, and especially not in a compulsive manner. As I progressed through the journey I have come to a point where I do not need to look at p subs or p and I do not m o. I can honestly say I am on an actual hardmode for the first time. Urges are also easy to get rid off. I now understand how little sense exists in needing to look at women's pictures regularly, people you will never meet or do anything with. Overall, I have come to believe that any argument about 'specifics' in the nofap journey is simply denial or the fact that someone is still greatly conflicted about stopping the addiction. Which is fine, it is part of the process but you need to be aware of this. Rather than half-assing nofap then complaining later that 90 days did not work etc.
