Sorry for the post above, I am new at this. I wanted to say thanks for the post. I experienced Pornographic flashbacks and sexual dreams in a previous attempt of quitting and this time also. I experienced also the restless legs syndrome, although only 2 or 3 times and many years ago. Never since. I feel that I know my reactions and myself a bit better thanks to your post.
I hadn't read about the withdrawal symptoms - and it's probably better that I hadn't! I've been on this site for about 2 weeks now. I had a reset yesterday, but despite that I'm still suffering from nausea and moderate low mood. My reset involved 45 minutes of porn and masturbation - absolutely nothing in comparison to the hours and hours a day I used to spend - so probably not surprising that I still feel unwell!
More awful violent nightmares last night - very bizarre, being forced repeatedly, in lots of different situations, under knife point, to give men BJs (which doesn't interest me sexually at all). The knives were actually used on me and it was all very violent. The dreams also involved all the worst things in my life coming back to haunt me. I'm wondering how long this will go on(?)
It must have been horrible Simonthepieman. I did have bad dreams for 2 or 3 days and then they stopped. I hope is the same for you. Take it as your brain cleaning itself. It will pass. Stay strong man.
