Day 3/7 complete for me as well. Definitely starting to pick up a bit socially, but I think it's bc I'm more mindful to make eye contact too. Had the weirdest brain fog sensation for a bit, but faded away once I slept it off.
Hi, I created an account just to be in this challenge. I have been addicted to weed and porn for years now and I am more than ready to quit it and start living the life I am destined for (pretty sure its not all porn and being lazy) so I would love to be in this challenge. I guess I already started, my dealer is out of town so couldn't get any bud today and haven't watched porn so might aswell start now and not wait any longer. Day 0 went well. I am not hurt nor do I feel a strong urge to do either. Ofcourse knowing me this could change any minute so i'll keep myself and you guys posted! Good luck to everyone else in this challenge aswell. Should be fun to see what I'll do tomorrow on Friday when I hangout with my friends. Maybe I'll be able to just drink without needing to smoke.
Day 1 for me, DAY 0 was hard as hell at times but whenever i felt like im going to relapse i searched around the forums and that made it go away, and COLD SHOWERS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND!
Made it to 5/7. Hate to say out loud and jinx it, but has been easier than I thought. Sadly, part of promise to myself to get through 7 is to allow myself to go backwards on day 8. However, this is a start, and hopefully I make it to 7/7 and then reconsider slipping. What helps me is reading people posting 1/7 as they start and people who are moving on to 14 day challenge. Good luck everyone
Today went well. My productivity was a little shot when I came home, but I eventually settled in and was working well. Hardly any urges today, and nothing that was major. I just gotta keep my eyes on the prize and stay aware of my temptations.
Almost through Day 1. Feeling good so far. Having this challenge in mind and this group as a place to post is super helpful. Hopefully it will continue to be so all the way through.
I am starting this challenge again Inonce completed the challenge but now i cant even go 2 days So i will have to warm up Day 0 started I wish all will keep the motivation going
Okay -- Day 7 complete. Moving over to the 14 day challenge. @2525 - thanks for setting this up and thanks to this heartening community for all the strength and support. Means a lot just knowing you're out there. IC
Thanks for that, this forum is great. It's good to know I'm not the only one fighting. Made it to day 2.
It's the start of day 4 for me, and I woke up with some incredible urges, topped off with a weird dizzy feeling in my head that made it seem like I needed to act on it. After a while it eventually passed. Four days ago is when I first admitted I had a problem, but this is the first time I've had withdrawal symptoms. Gonna have to stay even stronger from here on out. Onward to day 7!
