im curious on thoughts about this, especially from articles like these http://www.nzherald.co.nz/index.cfm?objectid=11955973 I find it fascinating how this is “acceptable” in the world, yet Russia gets banned from the Olympics due to doping. Isn’t especially MTF transitioning just a form of doping even if T levels are reduced?
It would be strange, I mean think a man dressed up as a woman going on the woman's team in the Olympics in a strength heavy sport it would just be weird as fuck.
I think a trans person would have an advantage competing in certain sports. Imagine putting an M2F in women's boxing or MMA. I feel that it would be very unfair to the women who compete in those sports. I also feel that an F2M trans person would have certain advantages in men's gymnastics over cis male athletes.
Completely agree. This isn't a matter of prejudice or discrimination. This is simple anatomy... Men are statistically bigger boned and larger than women. Regardless of how this person identifies themselves, biology doesn't agree with their feelings.
Sure, they can compete ... and then the feminist movement can implode when it realizes that women's sports are ruined as a result. http://www.wnd.com/2017/03/female-athletes-crushed-by-women-who-were-once-men/
I don't care either, because I think the vast majority of Olympic sports are useless. Who cares if our country is better at pole vaulting than Rwanda? Pole vaulting is a near useless skill. These games certainly are not worth spending one cent of my tax dollars on. With that said, I think if we are allowing transgendered, we should allow doping, because that is essentially what is going on when any male-to-female competes in the woman's division. They routinely dominate the athletes with female biology when they compete in those divisions. I say let the Russians dope all they want and go full bore. Let's see what science can do. I want to see Javelin's thrown over a mile, with pin-point accuracy.
You're talking about fallon fox. Man "transitioned" and just started literally beating the female fighters into a bloody pulp. I love MMA but these fights are painful to watch because he was literally crushing these women. Joe Rogan kept it real as fuck though. "he calls herself a woman but... I tend to disagree. And, uh, she, um... she used to be a man but now she has had, she's a transgender which is (the) official term that means you've gone through it, right? And she wants to be able to fight women in MMA. I say no f***ing way. I say if you had a dick at one point in time, you also have all the bone structure that comes with having a dick. You have bigger hands, you have bigger shoulder joints. You're a f***ing man. That's a man, OK? You can't have... that's... I don't care if you don't have a dick any more..."
The issue is much more complex than just doping or hormone replacement therapy. We're throwing science out the window in the name of "tolerance" and "equality". No two people are or will ever be equal, and neither you nor I should have to tolerate someones own belief that they are a member of the opposite sex when their dna and genitalia clearly say otherwise. This is a mental health issue and these people need extreme help.
You should. The more society normalizes mental illness the quicker we destroy the pillars that hold civilization up. Being a realistic and logical person is considered barbaric, bigoted and sexist by much of the western standards that are in place today. This worries me and it should worry you too.
In my opinion, no since it presents an unfair advantage in certain events like Weightlifting and MMA like mentioned above. That Fallon Fox thing was messed up. Maybe if they were given their own class to complete in, but I'm not even sure about that.
Having their own class would be the only way to do it. It would prevent Fallon fox type situations. If trans people competed against each other they'd all have similar body types/bone structure.
True, but I just imagine that feminist would take trans people having their own class as an insult/gender discrimination. It is the safest option, but I see some possible backlash to it. Then again, maybe I'm thinking too hard about it.
The answer is obvious. One has to be completely brainwashed in leftist ideology not to see the issue with allowing transitioned men in women's sports. Ironically, most Western governments are trapped into requiring such foolishness based on their "equality" laws and fear of being called bigots.
