How many of you PMO’d at 11:59 pm to start your reboot on a full day? (Foolish)

I am curious as to how many of you timed your last orgasm from PMO to begin exactly at 11:59 pm before the next day, so that you could finish your orgasm and be cleaned up before 12:00 am (midnight) on the first day of your reboot?

Example: Last orgasm from PMO was at 11:59 pm on January 4, first full day of reboot is January 5.

    Has anyone done this?
If not, when did you start?

Why does that matter? It's still a full day if you did it at 8pm, when it hits 8pm 24 hours later.

That’s true. But what if it’s a 8:47 pm? Does not choosing to stop on a nice even interval of time make your commitment to reboot less legitimate?

... no, that's the whole point - it's always a day 24 hours after the fact. Of course we're only talking about one day anyway, any decent streak is a lot longer. Give or take one day is not that much of a difference.

I mean if someone was really struggling to start with, maybe track hours instead of days then if they need that kind of psychological trick.

    Alright, thanks.

Does anybody else have anything to say on this matter? I would like to hear a few different people chime in so we can reach a consensus.

Lol, it does seem pretty silly. I’m actually pretty preoccupied with this though.

What times of the day did some of you start your reboot?

I'm afraid mate, I can't be of much help to you with this as I was too stressed out of my condition to have any awareness of the time.

@NewSelf2018: While it makes little practical difference over time, I totally get your notion of timing a relapse. I am having private "AP" discussions with someone who timed their relapse for New Years so they can have a "full year" to focus on. It makes utter sense to me.

One way that the 11:59pm relapse actually helps is that your more or less wake up in the morning being able to look forward to an incremented number.

That said, I also feel that being able to time your relapses implies that you are gaining some control. Not a bad thing, really.

That’s one way of looking at it. I already blew the New Year 2018 being PMO free. I think I’ve just been trying that method just to attempt to have a “perfect starting point”. The thing is, though, this doesn’t exist.

It is impossible to time your orgasm to be exactly at 11:59/midnight, because “midnight” is not a time interval, it is only an instant in which one day ends and the other begins. It is impossible to end perfectly at the end of a day, and you can become obsessed and always try to get closer (which is an futile and senseless pursuit).

There are different timezones, small differences within timezones. There is the length of how long an orgasm lasts, how long your erection afterward lasts, how long you leak residual semen afterward, etc. There is also the question of how correct your clock is.

Today, I decided to stop foolishly attempting to PMO at midnight because of this, and PMO’d for the last time sometime today. The starting date is not at all what is important.

    Do you agree with this?

Yea, I believe its just the addiction trying to find yet another way to get you to PMO. It is senseless and dumb. When you start doesn’t matter.

  13. I did for many years, it was always the new year or the new day or Sundays were the most times I would quit but always relapse, I tried to get as much pmo as possible to start off right.

And you realize that it’s all a colossal waste of time and energy. The addiction tries to find anyway to convince you to PMO just one more time, and one more time...

    When you start doesn’t matter.

One of the things I would do is, if I relapsed, I would relapse multiple times in the same day. And then I'd pmo one more time after that, because by that last time that awful feeling that I get after pmo intensifies by a fair amount. Then it's a little easier for me to start full-force the next day.

  16. I remember first playing minecraft when I was younger. It really got me into it to the point I was thinking in blocks and minecraft paradigms and even dreaming on minecraft. That's videogame addiction. If you just beat the monkey and you're looking at your phone and see its 11:57pm and wait 2 minutes so you can finish it at 11:59 you are addicted to pmo streaks - to pmo days counting.

Personally I would be incredibly pissed at myself. I just relapsed unintentionally and now I 100% regret it. Fing wanker what you doing with your life...I say to myself. Looking at the clock in that way, I would have to be very unserious about my reboot which I consider a foundation to life. Take life seriously and it will take you seriously.

You are also binging, furthering sexual hormonal activity / production which will cause you urges later on high strikes, as they get cleared out of your system, as well as make you weaker the next day.
