But you can have this fake live stream of the fake curvature of the flat earth from the fake satellite.

  2. I don't buy it, somethings off...

    Do you buy this?
So, this is a fish eye lens of a camera going very high up in space.
As you can see, the earth is at the same positions. When the plane-t goes towards the bottom of the frame, the fish eye lens curves each end of the framce upwards and the middle stays. When the position of the planet goes towards the top of the frame, the middle stays the same, and the ends curve downwards, therefore making the planet look round. The planet in both pictures are both in the same positions, so the same amount of distortion from the fish eye lens are applied to both pictures, so absolutely no excuses. ALSO, i am being very generous again, the postion the planet is in at the picture to the right, is slightly more towards the bottom of the frame, so actually the ends towards the left and right of the frame will be curved upward, thus making it look even more flat..
Ignore the black line in the pic to the left. I have taken perfect measurements in photoshop, tracing the curve using the pen tool.

So then, i have taken the lines and put them parallel to each other. There are 2 sets of them. The thicker line at the top, is the picture to the left (Camera near ground) and the thinner line to the bottom (the camera in space, Altitude 60,000+ feet). So, the first set (first set of double pair lines).. You can clearly see that the curve in space, is straighter then the one on the ground. Clearly there is a curve in the earth. Same positions, same perspective, etc.. The line is straighter on the camera in space. Why? The earth is round, confirmed.

I also tried an experiment to further prove my own point. Do you see the 2nd set of double parelell red lines? I have kept the corners (2) on each line the same, and brought the exact middle of the line, and simply brought it up the same amount on both lines, to fix the distortion. As you can see, if you were to be in space at that time without fish eye lense.. That is the curve of the earth at that altitude.

    Good luck ;)

  5. No, you just need to know basic science, but they will always bring up harder stuff without debating our arguments. This way they use the things that they think they know and that we never heard of.

  6. But mate, you wasted your time and energy because that was a joke to Hateporn. If I was a flat Earther I would say that it was just fake CGI though. lol

  7. One doesn't have to be a scientist, astrologer, or even into astronomy to understand the basics of why the Earth isn't flat. Their only excuse is we trust science and all that other "government" stuff, well what else are you supposed to trust? Wild theories and half baked attempts to convince the public it isn't round?

Either way again, I don't buy the whole covering up thing anyways and to me it's just another one of those conspiracies, I think NASA and everybody else would gain 0 benefit to lying about the Earth being round... In the end it's futile because they think we're brain washed retards and "know" the Earth is flat, while we go off of evidence and studies that date back so long ago as our proof the Earth is round, neither side will come to an agreement even if scientists came up with new evidence.

  8. Good job realizing that fish eye lens don't make it impossible to proove the curvature, but ya know that this girl is not a flat brain right?

He’s trying to win a debate and I’m telling him that the evidence brought forward hasn’t changed my opinion. And he proceeded to insult me based on that. I pointed out the irony in his quickness to criticize ad hominem while using the same tactics to prove his own point. Whatever justification you’re trying to use for him is a confirmation of your own biases. Congratulations for adding nothing to this discussion.

  10. they are the same member. liquidshoes made an alt account to validate himself when no one else will. which makes sense as he said he won't be posting anymore, so he needed some way to convienently respond to us, all while patting himself on the back. it was a poor effort

  11. Lol how didn't I realize this? It was so obvious. Well I think I would after I've seen the response.

  12. It was somewhat genius until he forgot all the basic settings on. lol

At least he can say whatever he wants now and the other guy is safe, I wonder how many other people take the actual effort to do that. Maybe he'll come back and prove you wrong, who knows!

  14. Btw, this is what I would write in a fake account:

    Imagine a British accent here:

    "Hello ladies and gentlemen.

I was respectfully procrastinating whilst surfing the internet where I came across this website and just could not stop laughing at the conspiracies here. How could someone believe that flapping your ding dong is a bad thing? I started looking in this section were I came across more conspiracies, like the so called "flap earth" and some "chemtrails". It took me one entire hours of enunciating pain all over my face and belly to read this thread, I am 3 year younger.
As a very intelligent intelectual this is the type of humor that I love.
By the way gentlemen, the Earth, our lovely planet, is phallic shaped.

With love, British and filthily rich dude"

Sorry for indirect ad hominens here, but I got inspired.

  15. Can we let this discussion forward into: "What does make someone fall for conspiracies, how to prevent this and how to bring them back"?

  16. For somebody claiming to be so smart, you wonder why he'd leave everything on, I mean there are settings in there that could of made it so nobody knew he was online to begin with. Either way, the weird response and the "coincidental timing" already told me anyways.

Once they go hardcore conspiracy mate, I dint think there's any hope left, obviously as you've witnessed yourself.

  17. Are you sure of that? Do you have any evidence except your experience? Look at these: https://www.facebook.com/exconspiracytheorist/

We need to think critically tell if this is a good analogy: We see people everyday overcoming biases for things like politics and philosophy, also a lot of people overcoming really bad mental disorders (I know that depression and anxiety are two of them), can't some (or hopefully most of) conspiracy theorists simply overcome biases?

  18. What you're comparing is not the same as depression at all. Clearly if these people believe that the Earth is flat and are making up all these ridiculous things and 'disproving' everything you throw back them, why would they suddenly change? They won't change their mind unless you force them and that gets us nowhere.
