    Hi all

    I have been fighting against my porn addiction for a while now. I used to masturbate 2-3 times everyday (7-8 times at max over the weekends per day).

    There has definitely be a progress, now I can go without porn for 2-3 days (relapsed after 3 days yesterday). I can see the progress here which is exciting.

    However...

    I have noticed a mental changes with me;

    ** Feeling down always without any major reason
    ** No motivation to do anything
    ** Nothing excites me or make me happy. For instance I am going to a big holiday with 4 friends next week. Yet I am indifferent, no exvitement or happiness etc.
    ** No energy to do anything, I can happily sleep 20 hours a day
    ** No girl attracts me (flatline I assume?)

    Do you know if these are the recovery symptoms or is it just a coincidence??

    Any advice/help will be much appreciated....

  2. This is all normal man. Most of us experience the same thing at one point or another. Our brain is addicted and it has to go through some rough mental and physical changes to rewire. It may go on for quite a while, but in the end it will be worth it. Good luck and stay strong. Im rooting for you.

  3. Yes there are all withdrawal symptoms. I'm on day 6 of 90 and I'm fell the same way. You have to push through it because speaking from experience it don't last more then 2 weeks keep your mind busy and know that soon life its self will Wii make you happy.
    You a better man keep fighting through it trust me when I tell you. You will fell more energy son your brain is just USSR to the huge burst in dopamine and because you not watching P it well need to find different ways of producing it is all part of the rebooting experience

    Same here. I'm 144 days into hardmode reboot (no PMO/no sex) and experiencing deep state of sadness mixed with general anxiety about what future might bring and tiredness like having cold or flu most of the time. I have no sexual urges anymore, nor for porn, nor for MB or sex. I've come to a point when I'm putting lotion on 28 yo very pretty woman wearing only underwear in bedroom and don't feel a thing. She probably wanted to have sex, I didn't even bother to engage. I don't know if I still have PIED and don't even care. I came back from 10 days hike with her, feeling more miserable than before... I'm going to Tenerife for 11 days next week, thinking environment change will shake me up and make me feel alive again, but now I don't even know if I still want to go. Nothing gives me pleasure anymore. It's like I'm dead inside. I was numb because PMO before, but I'm really f...ed up now.

    I was hoping to be alright by now, but unfortunately that's not the case. Some say it took them well over a year to completely recover. I was hoping hardmode would speed up recovery process, now I'm not so sure. How long have you been addicted (it's been +17 years for me and going to extremes last few years)?

    PS: You're really only starting your recovery process. First 2 months are most difficult. I experienced wild mood swings, headaches, insomnia, depression, anxiety, you name it... Most of these symptoms subdued after 2-3 months, but sadness, tiredness and anxiety didn't go away. They are less intense, but more constant.
