At first, sry for my bad english, I'm trying my best.

So basically today is the day when I'm 14 days without PMO. It wasn't really that hard, I never was addicted to P, in my earlier days when i didn't know about nofap i was doing PMO 1-2 times a week. My libido is naturally low so my urges are weak, but after all i was struggling with huge brain fog and decided to stop doing PMO.

1-13 were freaking incredible. I got MASSIVE confidence boost, girls were smiling and looking at me all the time, i had this power in my voice, and words were coming from my head naturally and smoothly. My creativeness also increased and everything was good. I had wetdream at 4~~ day mark but it didn't really affect my progress. Like nothing happened.

Today i had my 2 wetdream and like my nickname says: holyshit. I feel like shit. Confidence ? Gone. Clear mind? Gone. Everything I've got by this time is gone. I don't know if its caused by this wetdream or my flatline just started. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'm even thinking about PMO, cause why not? Now i fell like ape and after it it will be the same feeling..

Its not my first streak btw, im doing this all nofap thing for half a year but always in ~~14 day i relapse cause its always the same. Maybe relapsing can resolve my problem? Dunno really.

    HELP WHAT TO DO?

Hi, let me just say I have successfully overcome the 'wetdream' issues.

Yes it is true that it creates a chaser and some of the good stuff that nofap brings are wiped out. However, please understand that this is NOT a conscious thing. You couldn't do much to prevent this. As a result this is an accident that just happened. For these reasons the psychology from actually fapping and the psychology for a wetdream is way way different.

What I found is that when I concentrate on this fact, I realise that 'hey' it was out of my control, once I have understood this I quickly address the fact of getting through the first and second day as this is where the chaser is most strong.

Once those two days and done I'm plain sailing again.

    Hope that helped

I don't think you should reset if you have a wet dream. you didn't PMO. It was literally just your brain and body deciding to release some sexual energy and semen. Don't let it get you down.

Agree with Benjy...you didn't PMO and your I think your body naturally has to release the love juice if you aren't actually having sex and releasing it...

I seriously hate wet and otherwise dirty dreams. I actually really enjoy them but they end up causing too much temptation after the fact. For the few wetdreams I've had it's pretty much a guaranteed relapse the next day due to my mind being filled up with that crap. Wish there was a way to wake up from those. I guess my unconscious isn't into the whole Nofap thing.

Wet dreams are uncontrollable biological processes and there's absolutely no reason for you to reset.

Had one last night... As far as I'm concerned, they are completely uncontrollable, and actually make the NoFap streak more enjoyable. Embrace them!

Enjoyable? Maybe. I think that depends very much on the nature of the erotic dream. If it is of 'normal' sex, yes, I can see your point. But some of us have wallowed in the sex cesspit and a dream that is full of degrading perversions can be extremely disturbing. Many report that the context of the wet dream is that they are masturbating to porn - relapsing basically. It just isn't possible to enjoy that or embrace it.

I also wanted to say that you are doing fantastically well beauty. You are so close to a major milestone - 2 MONTHS - so remain vigilant, breast the tape and keep going. IGY :)

I suppose enjoyable isn't quite the word that I would have used, perhaps tolerable. I think embracing the WD as a whole is better than getting pessimistic and down when you have one. Because there's nothing we can do about them, it's better to embrace in my opinion.

    Anyhow :)

I think he meant he's not having them anymore, but there's no guarantee he won't have them ever again. It is quite literally impossible to control them. They are perfectly normal and you shouldn't feel ashamed for having them. There's nothing you can do and you shouldn't feel shame for something your body may or may not do while you are sleeping. They are less frequent as you get older, but men are still capable of having them at any time throughout their life.

Normally, wet dreams generally occur in adolescent males, but because of the nature of abstaining from PMO, I think it can happen as a result of the body needing to "release" on a subconscious level. It can also be a sign that your body is returning to normal again. It can also mean nothing.

There's no reason to stress over it. Just carry on with what you're doing. Don't reset. Don't stress. Just keep on doing what you've been doing.
