Hey guys. Just realized today I am on Day 6 of not fapping and looking at porn and boy am I feeling it. My best run in the past has been 7 or 8 days. Usually right around then things get extremely tense for me. Again I am on day 6 and it feels super intense. I get sexual thoughts and the urges to fap are sooooo intense. It has been an all day battle for me and I have never been totally at ease. I am about to go to work in 45 so that is a blessing as I have been home alone all day so far. If you guys could encourage me or send me advice to help push me past best that would be great!!

  2. Keep your streak going, you got this. Show yourself you can do better than the last time. Keep your mind and hands busy with other things.

Listen brother, I’m literally in the same boat as you. I’m on day 6, although I did have a long streak of 48 days a few months back. Still, the urges have been pretty bad for me. Last time I was in a flatline mostly so I didn’t experience urges like this, but this time they’ve hit me hard. One thing I’ve been doing is eating extremely healthy and exercising in the evening. I find that my urges seem to lessen after I work out presumably because I’m so tired afterwards that I don’t feel like fapping. They’re still really intense leading up to the workout however. My best advice is for you to just stay strong and realize you’re definitely not alone. We’re on the same day man, and if I can do it you sure as hell can do it. Keep pushing through dude.

  4. Getting through the first week is always the hardest. Remember that it is going to get easier every day. Just let the urges come and go. You get stronger for every urge you suppress.

    Stay strong my friend!

  5. To let them come and go without clinging is not surpression/tension. To be free of it and not create voids in ones life that beg it to be filled is correct practice.
