FOR THOSE WHO STRUGGLE.... MY ALTERNATIVE METHOD TO REBOOT

    hello everybody!My name is denis ,i'm a 34 years old french.I think i'm like most people here:i have a problem with porn!.First,let me tell you that english is not my native language so i probably make mistakes :be indulgent please,i will try to do my best.My story?same as most people :no internet when i was younger,so fapping in front of softcore pictures at 11,watching my first porn movies(VHS TAPE!)at 12,then fapping sometimes ,then fapping a lot.The life goes on i'm sixteen and i remember my girlfriend at this time was a pretty lady with big boobs .It's the first time i make love with a women and..........BAAAAMMMM!!!WTF?!!!!!i'm not able to have a good erection and ejaculate normally with penetration! is it normal?If i was the person i am today at this time,NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sadly,i wasn't really mature at sixteen so i try to forget this and life goes on.I break up with the girl ,found another ,lot of fapping and i think i'm good at this time because sex with another girlfriend is much better.the life still goes on ,but something has changed :I NEED TO WATCH MORE HARDCORE STUFF TO SATISFY MYSELF and i tend to isolate myself from other people.Again,the life goes,i masturbate maybe once a day ,have girlfriends but not really long relations (i'm single right now) and in 2016,i start to interesting myself in fetish porn,BDSM,transgendered people .......etc.And i think i realize something a this moment:I'VE GOT A PROBLEM WITH PORN.I'm 100% heterosexual so i realize something is wrong.I start to interesting myself in nofap. i want to change things and make a reboot and i what i want to share is my method to achieve this because i find it much easier than going straight 90 days.It is inspired by a french training method called LAFAY that i've been practising for maybe 2 years and it gives me good results. .The whole principle of this method is to make musculation at home.Let's say for example you want good looking abs.You're able to make 5 abs in a serie(you're an absolute beginner ).what this method told you is to training progressively ,you start on day one you make 6*5 abs,you rest for 30 seconds,then 6*5 abs,rest 30 seconds,you make six series following this pattern.Then the second day ,no physical activity, and the third day you're training but you make it harder with series of 6 abs.Ex:6*6 abs,rest 30 seconds,....etc.Next day no physical activity and the next day,same thing you make it harder: series of 7 repetitions .then you make series of 8 repetitions....etc.If you find hard to reach a number of repetitions,just loop the previous step.Ex:if you find hard to reach 15 repetitions ,just loop at 14 repetitions until you feel fully confident to reach 15 repetitions.And really it works because it's progessive,it is not a short term method but it gives results in the long run,i've been practising this method for 2 years and the proof that make me think i'm on the right track is OTHER PEOPLE NOTICED MY BODY HAS CHANGED.Some people even congratulate me and it's a good feeling.Back to PMO here is the schedule i'm currently experimenting.( i won't talk about benefits of pmo...etc.)

    1ST STEP ( i will use july as an example)
    01/07 1st day =No pmo ( it's good to find a hobby if you have free time to distract yourself:sport ,music.....etc there's a lot of things you can do)
    02/07 2nd day =CONGRATULATIONS .you reach the second step.As a reward you're allowed to have fun at the end of the day:YOU CAN LET YOURSELF GO!!!If you feel the urge to masturbate do it!On the other side,don't force yourself .if you don't need to masturbate it's ok ,its a good thing.

    2ND STEP
    03/07 No pmo
    04/07 No pmo
    05/07 SAME PRINCIPLE :
    you're allowed to masturbate if you feel the urge (think about a guy who fap 5 times a day everyday for 10 years -3 days without PMO sound ridiculous but in fact it is a huge progression)

    3RD STEP
    06/07
    No pmo
    07/07 No pmo
    08/07 No pmo
    09/07 No pmo
    10/07 No pmo
    11/07 No pmo
    12/07 Allowed to masturbate if you need to.(one week without PMO)

    4TH STEP
    13/07 to 23/07 No pmo
    24/07 allowed to masturbate (2 weeks without PMO)

    and you follow the same logic for the 5th step,the 6th step. ....ect.I'm currently half of one month without PMO and even it's take much more time i find this method much easier to do than going straight 90 days in hard mode because it's progressive : you let your mind and your body slowly acclimate to nofap .When you're allowed to masturbate you feel a little guilty but it's okay because you're not restarting from zero:you make it harder at each step and you progress each time .My goal is to achieve a 90 day reboot following this method.I'm not an expert but again i find doing reboot this way is much more easier .Feel free to give a try!

    This is only my opinion but I think this is not a good method. When you're truely addicted, you must not give your brain a single chance to relapse. Why?
    From the moment your brain detects an allowance on the addiction, it will consider it as a "I give up, here's a sign of weakness". So the addiction will always try hard to cross the line, and unconsciously try to negociate with you to get more and you'll eventually lose control again.

    The best thing to do is to fight 100% against it, it is better to relapse against your will and limitate the damage than to feed the bad wolf. Your brain must understand that you are fighting it, and not trying to moderate it, what if justice would allow to commit a crime once a week ?

    Don't try to regulate something you know you can't control !

    hey im french as well.

    I also must agree with @Eddy7. In my opinion porn has to be fought all the way, never lettong it win any battle. Porn i the type of addiction that is beaten by never letting your guard down,unlike cigsrettes eith which you can lower down the nicotine progressively.

    I like it. Half these guys here relapse anyway. This puts it in a controlled process. It is also somewhat a taper which for other drugs or addictions is recommended by medical professionals. I just read another guy say on here 1 relapse is not bad. It's doesn't set all that work back to zero. Yes if you do it twice then goodbuy to all that hard work. I stand behind that statement from experience. I have pmo just 1 time and still felt great after. other times where I pmo once then againn and again that is where the slippery slope is. Thanks for the insight.

    yes of courseand i agree with @JJackson who had said that in other threads. I just meant that with this method you dont rly reboot because at every step your brain knows that its just a matter of time before he can get a good wank out again, not letting your dopamine receptors heal.
