    Hi everyone!

I've noticed something weird lately. So I'm some 160 days PMO-free now. I flatlined somewhere in the very beginning for about a week or two.

Now I have been dating a girl for about two months and we've been having sex every weekend for 6 consecutive weeks (which I'm super happy about) but now it's been almost 2 weeks since we saw each other / had sex and it feels like I'm back in flatline all of the sudden. My theory is that my body got used to the regular weekly sex and once that cycle was broken, my brain quickly ran out of dopamine and I feel pretty down & low with no libido at all at the moment.

It was funny to see how I went through the same cylce every week: 1-2 days after sex were ok, then urges started coming up, craving for sex got more intense and on day 7 I just wanted to jump right on top of her as soon as I saw her. But after I got past day 7 without sex, my libido started dropping very quickly.

So has anyone ever experienced anything similar? A flatline not due to first lack of PMO but lack of sex? I'm gonna see her tonight. I'm curious what that's going to be like...

Had a flatline too. I did PMO at that time without knowing of NoFap, and I was scared as hell. Took the blue pill. Since my relationship was very new, that was a huge negative impact on the relationship.

But within that time I had also much more stress. And slept just very little.

But as you said: there is a routine in testosterone I once read - and I found it again (well, and if you do the opposite...)

So now, after a few month passing by, do you have an answer to your question/odd?

And CaptainB, I appreciate your success story so much! Sounds very familiar and is written very well.

Thank you so much for your work and "research" so far - and for letting us know.

hmmm...well I think its because your brain goes through a "cycle of horniness" per se. like it will build up then drop off, then build up again. i doubt your brain can keep you horny 24/7.

however even though you may feel like you're in flatline, have you tried having sex? i doubt at the stage you are at, you will have any ED issues.
