Do you have more addictions besides PMO?

    I got smoking, and i am fixing both at the same time now. which is really tough anyone else in the same boat?

    I'm also addicted to smoking. I know how bad it is, but I still continue. Maybe it's also somekinda way for me to cool down urges to PMO/MO. When I'm close to relapse, I go outside and smoke. But I know that I have to quit that. But you know, it's damn hard. I've smoked since I was about 16 years old (that makes 6 years more or less regular smoking so far).

    Yeah same thing, i think i would of relapse earlier if i didn't smoke(1st attempt of PMO lasted 10days) Maybe we should quit once we are done with PMO addiction :)

    Hey man, yeah I'm in a similar situation to you - my main problems are not only with smoking but with alcohol too... pleased to say that I'm doing quite well in certain areas of my life but unfortunately doing less well in other areas too...

    Something that I've struggled with is that I think it's easy to replace one addiction with another, or to be more specific, when the intake of one thing goes down then the desire for something else to replace it goes up.

    I've personally managed to go a few weeks without smoking now (have been smoking for approx 12 years) and I do still have temptation especially when I'm out and with friends that smoke, however thankfully I've managed to be tough.

    Good luck to you trying to quit both things at once - it is tough - but it can be done

    I tend to overindulge in alcohol and cannabis as well.

    Food... hands down food. Binging on porn and binging on crap food have always gone hand in hand.

    Caffeine. I'm talking like two or three big red-bull's a day bad. Which hurts my progress on my 90 day challenge fml
     
  9. Ssssssssssssweet sugar. So much worse than cocaine. Internet, which is the basis of my existence. I love video games too much. Smoking too, it's horrible. And CocoRosie, and I'm starting to get addicted to Lana Del Rey, I'm a walking joke. And girls in general. Which is funny since I'm actually not even gay. Abut alcohol, for me it's weird, I only drink when I'm alone or purposely to avoid social embarrassment, which are like, the two worst things to do, but what prevents me from being alcoholic is that a) hangover is what I hate, HATE the most on Earth; b) I go to parties like once every three months; c) I drink alone only in extreme, good or bad, situations. Thank God.

    fracking food,
    i get so much enjoyment, from eating, chewing, tasting, and feeling FULL.
    not haute, fancy, french cuisine,
    comfort food

    sushi is merely a delivery device for wasabi
    shrimp are merely a delivery device for cocktail sauce

    leftovers??? i'll have em now, don't wanna take up room in the fridge, i'll go make room for more.

    i raced bicycles in college, rode 200-250 miles a week,
    and could put down two to three TRAYS of food from the dorm cafeteria at EACH meal,
    weighed only 150#

    had to quit riding, (to study) however the monstrous appetite remained.
    now 24 years, 110 ADDITIONAL pounds, diabetes, and a heart attack later . . .
    i still fracking love to eat.

    I've lost and then regained the same 30 pounds two dozen times in the last decade
    (talk about a yo-yo)
    the only thing going up and down faster than my weight, has been my fapping fist.

    hoping to cure both in 2015.
    both have led to intense self hatred, and self personification as being weak, and incapable of stopping, incapable of improvement,

    glad to have found NoFap,

    pm if you wanna talk about finding a way to curb our food appetites,
    whilst curbing our FAPpetites at the same time.

    i (?unfortuantely?) tend to be an all-in / all-or-nothing kinda guy.
    so i tend to want to start multiple projects at once
    exercise, diet, NoFap, quit cussing, read more/no tv.
    and when i fall off one wagon, i tend to fall off ALL the wagons,.

    I wouldn't go so far as to call them addictions. However, I have cravings for beer and junk food most evenings, especially when I'm at my desk doing long study sessions. I usually quell these cravings by having a 10p bag of Haribo (similar to gummy bears if you're unfamiliar) and a couple of beers from the corner shop.
    I am aiming to get a medium/athletic body, so you can see that these cravings are a hinderance. Also, it isn't good for my wallet.

    Another thing,, coffee,, I usually have about 2 cups a day and I used to be a little dependent on it. It's something I want to cut down on, but as before, I wouldn't consider myself addicted.

    That being said, I'm keeping up a good running routine and I have a generally good diet. It's just a case of ditching my nightly beer and extra coffee.

    Yes, I'm addicted to alcohol and rivotril. I'm also a smoker, but I recently changed to vaping, which in my opinion is less harmful and better than smoking tobacco. PMO is the least of my problems right now, but quitting it makes life more bearable. :D

    I was addicted to Facebook, but I delated my account 3-4 months ago.

    Now I'm a lot on YouTube, can't say if I'm addicted to that.
