I’m sorry to tell you this, but the thickness and fullness of your future beard has already been mostly determined by your genetics.

Quitting PMO will help your body increase testosterone; so it will speed up the development of your beard coming in and growing more full, but your genetics will determine how much of your face will grow hair and how thick those hairs will be.

Yes. Also, stay hydrated, practice sprinting and heavy lifting, eat foods high in sulfur, and stretch daily.

Time is the only thing that will help you grow a thicker, fuller beard. You're on the young side to be growing a really thick beard anyway, from my personal experience. Sure, we've all known those couple of guys in high school that had to shave at 13 and could pass for 21 by sophomore year, but that's not exactly common. I couldn't grow a beard very well until I was about 30. It came in really sparsely before then. I could wear a goatee or a moustache from about 19 or so, but any time I tried to grow a full beard, it just didn't look right because you could see so much skin in between the individual hairs. I'm 36 now, and have about a year or so of beard hanging from my face. I can literally braid it if I wanted to, and there's no visible skin where my beard is. The last 3 inches or so of it still looks more sparse than the rest of it, but I am leaving it that way until it gets really long and then I'll trim and shape it. I figure a year or two more will get me enough beard to really have something to work with to shape it right. As an aside, if you're planning to grow a long beard, it needs to be taken care of. That hair is dependent on the oils from your face to keep it moisturized sufficiently and will become brittle and crumble without it. Once the beard is more than a couple inches long, the oils from your face can't make it all the way up the hair's length. Soaps and shampoos remove oils from hair and skin, that's what they're designed to do. So take a page from women's hair care and cowash, which is to use conditioner only every day when you shower, and limit the shampoo/soap on the hair to once or twice a week, basically when the hair barely begins to feel a little oily or greasy. a (very) light touch of beard oil afterward while the hair is still wet and it's surprisingly strong and soft.

Be patient it will come with age and count yourself lucky thin hair is better in a beard. Its more natural, thick hair usually comes if a person has been shaving more. The more you shave the thicker it grows. Trust me you dont want a thick bushy beard. Better having a thin natural beard.

Yes, testosterone levels and genetics have an impact on the growth of the beard. You may need to condition your body and use some beard care. Increased beard growth by exercising properly, maintaining good living and eating habits and using care products such as beard growth oil or beard cream.
