I’ve been watching fetish porn since sixth grade, and masturbating about every other day for most of my adolescence. Recently, I found out about the negative side effects porn and masturbation have on you, so I’ve been trying to quit for the last couple weeks. I haven’t made it past six days yet, and every time I fail I have a mental breakdown.

The last experience I had was painful. I was planning on holding off for seven days after the last time I broke a streak, but after only two days I found myself fantasizing about the most depraved shit I could ever imagine. I tried my hardest to fight it, but I just couldn’t get it out of my head.

After getting, losing, and getting three erections, one after the other, I gave in. It was an insane orgasm, but when it was done, I felt like offing myself. I can’t sleep because I’ve beating myself up for what happened for the last hour. I don’t know how to fight this. If anyone has advise, send it this way.

  2. Just remember, we aren't what we think. Thoughts will come...urges...arousal....etc. But choice is there too as to whether we act on them. Porn, for me, makes is very easy and almost a certainty I'll chase the depraved stuff. However, blocking it---learning and growing in my ability to stay away from it--leads to cleaner, clearer, non shaming thoughts. Progress not perfection. Good luck!

Don't get too depressed with this relapse.
Remember that each streak brings you closer to the cure.
So get back on the saddle and try again, but this time prevent yourself from being triggered.
Change your surroundings, go outside as much as possible and get busy with different stuff.

Failure is a part of success. Dont worry too much about relapsing. As long as you're gradually reducing the amount you PMO, then you're headed in the right direction. Eventually you'll achieve a long streak as long as you keep trying. Good luck
