These tips are based on personal experience.Sexual desire runs in our blood the idea of mating and rebrosuceing is part of our reward and survival instincts as humans. That's why we all want sex and most of us love to be a parent at some point. One important thing as well is sex drive itself and what boost it. The booster is new mates/sex partners and new sexual activity. How is this related to quitting this addiction? Well, this explains why we get easily addicted/hooked to porn and masturbating. Yes I am talking about actual males and females mating, but does our reward and survival system know that? We watch porn --> our brain things its real sex except its much better, multiple mates multiple positions and multiple endings if you know what I mean. At the end same chemicals are released except... It is released with higher dozes because that what I call as Fake Sex is much better than real sex to our brains. First time it happens, we love everything about it. Only once a week, soon that is not enough. Once a day is not enough. So we decide that we want to stop. Why?
    1. It is a waste of time.
    2. It is waste of energy.
    3. It is waste of money (in some cases).
    4. It damage our thoughts.
    5. It damage how we see our real spouses or what we think of them.
    6. We realize it is addiction.
    7. It control us.
    8. Stress, shame, depression.
    9. last but not least mental ED.
I can explain each of these points but I don't want to make an even longer post.
But How do we stop? It is very simple, yet so difficult.
Strong well power to fight the urge. Oh really I'm sure you all already new that. I'm sure you already failed at that. It is normal as I explained why earlier. Here is another example so we don't feel so guilty and shameful about ourselves. Imagine a drug addict that wants to quit but has access to the best quality of his drug of choice at the press of a finger. What well power will work against that?? So follow theses steps it will help out.
    1. Remember why you are doing this.
    2. Install porn blockers: On all your electronic devices.
    3. Install Apps blocker that has uninstall prevention( you can't uninstall unles you know the password): On all your electronic devices. Why? If you feel that Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tinder, YouTube or Any app is a trigger to your urge. BLOCK it. At some point I blocked all of the above and wish that I never unblocked them.
    4. Block sites: ON all of your electronic devises. Some sites are not adult sites therefor they don't get automatically blocked. Here you need to manually add them. If you are buying softwares(usually cheap less than 200$ for a year and so much worth it) make sure it has the option to manually block sites.
    5. Don't be cheap on spending money on good software to do point 3 and 4. Although you may find a lot of free ones but if you have to buy subscription then do it. This can be the best thing you ever bought.
    6. Find someone you trust: This person will create the user name, password, email address and recovery questions to the Blockers. Thus, you will not be able to unlock it.
    7. Don't be alone: don't lock yourself in a room, always be around friends, family, spouse.
    8. Change your routine: if you can't wait to get off work to go home and do what you do change that. Go to the gym right after work, simple example. if its bed time and that is your favorite time to do it; watch a movie and sleep late or early whatever works for you.
    9. Don't think about: Forget it, don't count days don't look up how to stop.. at some point you have seen all the tips and heard all the speeches. This will just make you think about it.
    10. Before your first day.. Have a bad relapse this will increase your determination and give you motivation to go the first 2 days (one of the hardest to many) without wanting to do it.( this tip you don't have to follow because usually we have bad relapse most of the time).
    11. Don't look: whatever you do don't look at opposite sex when they walk by.
    12. If you are in relationship Don't "Fool around" unless you have real sex after because this will just push you to your habit. If you decide that you don't want sex.. Still "Don't Fool Around"
    13. If you share everything with your spouse have her hold you accountable. Tell her the truth.
    14. Never Give up. You can start over as many times.
I personally tried all the above, it worked.. Until I thought I am fine so I stopped blocking everything that trigger me I stopped running away from temptation. However I follow my own tips to have another streak.
Thank you for reading, Excuse me if I had spelling or grammar errors I am ESL
