    Hey all,
I have been in this challenge for over 2 years but unfortunately i cannot pass the 2 months mark. I now understand my relapse process and I can see what causes me to relapse.
Yesterday I relapsed again, and I binged on it.
I am not that guy that watches porn for a few hours on a binge, but I still do it for 2 or 3 times a day when I binge, and it stays for several days until I do the challenge again.
I know the goal is to stay clean for good, but I still don't want to damage the process that I did so far.
So after the long background, how do I minimize the Chaser Effect as much as possible?
    Thank you reading this post,
I now understand that I cannot do it on my own and I do need support from people in the same situation as I am.
Hope all of us will prevail!

Find a new addiction. Probably a bad idea but it works.

  3. My advice is, if you reset or relapse, immediately have a shower and get into clean clothes.

Then, report it online as soon as possible. It doesn't have to be in your journal. It could be a private message to someone. You could even join a different forum. Obviously be careful while using the Internet when doing this. Perhaps wait until someone else is around so you're not alone.

Doing this "ritual" helps me avoid the chaser effect.

    Hi,

Chaser effect got me on multiple occasions over the years. The two main things that have helped me are meditation, which has allowed me to observe my thoughts, as opposed to getting lost in them. Secondly I made giving up porn my no. 1 priority. This entailed learning as much about the damage caused by porn to both myself and others. As these combined I was able to be an observer to the urges, which meant that I didn't get drawn in by them.

I also don't want to still be dealing with this issue in another ten years.
