What will happen to the hookup culture and prostitution while regaining normalcy from Covid-19?

There are a million different things that can kill us every single day. Every time you leave your house and drive a car you could be killed. Be cautious sure, but living in fear is no life at all.

 

We could go all day with what ifs. How about low immune systems, depression, suicide, poverty, civil unrest from being locked inside?

 

you’ve got to be kidding me. Go to a brothel or call girl without the possibility of contracting? There has always been a possibility of contracting things far worse than corona virus. And yeah.. vaccines don’t work.

 

So how many years do you propose to hold the world a hostage? And are you gonna take the responsibility for all the deaths from civil strife and resultant lack of resources for vast majority of the population in vast majority of the countries who cannot afford to be in limbo?

Herd immunity is the answer. If you are morbidly obese, diabetic (due to your own choices, not talking about poor sods whom genetics flips one up), and in bad health, it's your own fault for slacking off on the single most important thing in this world that you actually own (your body). Natural selection is gonna work it's magic even if we all stay locked down for a decade.

And nopes. The cases you mention are a lot less, and everyone should find the time to exercise. That's on our society too, if some people are so busy earning two square meals that they can not take care of their health.

And I won't be shamed for holding the belief that most people do not care about their health and despite knowing better choose to ignore and live in comfort until something snaps. The whole world is paying a hefty price for their slacking off now.

 

Personally I don't see myself fucking or being fucked by anyone in the near future. For those who depend on these interactions, I empathize.

 

Let’s say about 60% of the population need COVID 19 for herd immunity to (potentially) work.

Right now, there are 4,272,729 reported cases in total.

Of those reported cases 1,536,196 have recovered and 287,615 have died.

The global population is 7,777,504,748.

Which means we’ll need approximately 4,666,502,849 cases for herd immunity to (potentially) work.

 

and 1.5 billion(or even more Idk) comes from China. So I guess before I would like to see their real numbers
Many countries of central Africa, unfortunately, has no equipment to report all the cases(which is really tragic).
And in every pandemic the certificated case, in developed countries, are around only the 10% of the actual case. Additionaly we're developing cures to make it less lethal, so I wouldn't make it appear so tragic

 

I think this situation with Covid-19 is stupid! All EU(with some exceptions) installed quarantine for several cases! Yeah, it is the best to protect yourself in situation like, but it is not ok to agree a freeze of economies. An good example is the negative price of oil. It hadn't happened since the industrial use of it and its commercialization.
In conclusion: protect yourself if you consider.

 

yeah, somehow... There were similar cases in history, a vaccine appeared and was used in a abnormal period of tine(<than a number of years) and there were pretty much complications and severe health issues. A thing that a lot of people don't know is that the quarantine helps us in slowing the action of a virus(to help hospitals in their ill people management), not in annihilating it. And in these moments, it is very easy to manipulate people because there appears the fear of death... A long discussion, but remember: a vaccine at this time is not a solution!

On Facebook, there was this ad from a guy claiming he'd be able to coach guys to hookup with girls during the lockdown. He said it didn't matter if people got Covid since no one will die from it... And apparently people are paying escorts extra to see them.
