Sorry guys after a long time I lost my accountability due to not seriousness towards recovery. so day 1 completed successfully
yes!!! i´m reading the books. I started of course with the Fellowship of the ring. It´s great to read them while doing the challenge. I recommend to everybody although there can be divergences, while in this challenge i´m in the river Anduin, in the book the story is still in the Shire, when Bilbo left the ring to Frodo
Congratulations brother!!! Take it from the Shire, through the mountains, caves and valleys, through the Sun and the Snow, to the joy and the sorrow. Just the walk of one day at a time, for every day has enough wisdom and perils. Good Luck!!!!
Very good brother!!! The spell of porn is still strong but you´re fighting it, so give it no truces. Keep going!!!!
One more day down the river dear Fellowship. Closing in to Amon Hen. I´ve been working actively in the timestamps of the challenge, so everybody can see where they are in the map of Middle Earth. A brother is also working on a surprise for you This is starting to become more of a Role Playing Game than an atual addiction recovery . But ei, if it works and it´s fun... why not? Have a great day brave Fellowship
I've read them already but this time I'm reading them with more attention to geography and older lore as I intend to take up the Silmarilion (simarilion?) once I'm finished rereading the LOTR saga. I grew up with the movies and I'll always enjoy them but undoubtedly the book is better.
Yeah that's where I'm at too! Haha. 100 pages in, chapter three "three's company" and they're only now starting off haha. I'm hoping I'll catch up to Bree before I make it to Rivendell in this challenge!
Brilliant Trilogy to read! The film is an epic, but the books are more than worthy alongside, the sense of journey you get along the way, and the way some of the characters are built up, and some of the sub plots, it adds a slight more depth to the films... some would argue a lot more depth! I don't think I will be revisiting the book just yet (it is quite a long one afterall) but I will see how far I get in this challenge, and then who knows maybe repeat this challenge again for fun - and read the book with it! Wishful thinking eh?
