Very good brother!!! The spell of porn is still strong but you´re fighting it, so give it no truces. Keep going!!!!
One more day down the river dear Fellowship. Closing in to Amon Hen.
I´ve been working actively in the timestamps of the challenge, so everybody can see where they are in the map of Middle Earth. A brother is also working on a surprise for you
This is starting to become more of a Role Playing Game than an atual addiction recovery . But ei, if it works and it´s fun... why not?
Have a great day brave Fellowship
Check in : Day 16
I've read them already but this time I'm reading them with more attention to geography and older lore as I intend to take up the Silmarilion (simarilion?) once I'm finished rereading the LOTR saga. I grew up with the movies and I'll always enjoy them but undoubtedly the book is better.
Yeah that's where I'm at too! Haha. 100 pages in, chapter three "three's company" and they're only now starting off haha. I'm hoping I'll catch up to Bree before I make it to Rivendell in this challenge!
Day 5 lotr over. Gona go hang out with my mates Pippin and Merry.
Changing the room when I start to feel urges was the answer for me so far.
Thank you bro!
Day 7, check.
@RiseToGreatness I'm in
Check in on day 143. Getting close to Osgiliath.
Uruk-Hai again, after a long time of being a shitty orc.
Brilliant Trilogy to read! The film is an epic, but the books are more than worthy alongside, the sense of journey you get along the way, and the way some of the characters are built up, and some of the sub plots, it adds a slight more depth to the films... some would argue a lot more depth!
I don't think I will be revisiting the book just yet (it is quite a long one afterall) but I will see how far I get in this challenge, and then who knows maybe repeat this challenge again for fun - and read the book with it! Wishful thinking eh?
Checking in Day 2
I have a question. Has a relapse ever occured "by itself"? Sounds wierd. Let me explain:
I came across content on social media. Was downright flashed by it. Felt completely sensitive and it got triggered.
The whole situation left me with a headache and the usual relapse feeling. Therefore, set me back to 0.
If it weren't for that I would keep going.
I'll delete social media apps again and would advise you to do the same. Use a messenger instead.
Good thing is that I've been improving a lot since previous relapses!
Take care guys
Very good idea, social media is a great danger.
smart move bro. Keep it going!!!!
