    Hey.

I was wondering what the opinions of abstaining from just P or abstaining from everything were?
What are the pros and cons of just abstaining from P but to keep on masturbating?

Different opinions, especially by nofappers who has come far would be appreciated!

    My two cents:
On my last longer streak of hardmode I think it helped, especially in the beginning with abstaining from everything.
In the later process though, I think I could have reduced a lot of headaches and pressure by masturbating (of course without any visual stimulation).

    Thoughts? :)

I have never watched porn, I am on here as I fantasise and then MO. Personally it has screwed my life up completely MOIng once a day for ten years. It Is still a dopamine rush and I developed really weak erections, adrenal fatigue, soft fat round middle, thinning hair everywhere, loss of strength, anxiety and tht just to name a few. I have had my thyroid checked all normal. Now iv started nofap my hair has got thicker and even re growing in the bald spots slightly (I'm still early days on here) losing weight, gaining strength, eyes are brighter, deeper voice, more confidence, can look people in the eye, I am talking more clearly and using sophisticated words in sentences without even realising. I have a long way to go but in my opinion for me stopping MO is saving me. Sorry for rant as I know everyone is different. All the best

In my opinion, if you are fantasizing about P-like things while you M, I really don't think it's any better than plain old PMO. You are still wiring your brain to respond to fantasy images rather than the real thing.

In my opinion, I think it's useless to give up porn but continue to masturbate.. Because you'll end up watching porn due to masturbating; I gurrantee it.

Plus you're not rewiring your brain, you're still emotionally connecting to the act of masturbation rather than a real person.. And you'll end up using a death grip and will become de sensitiazed to real sex

Mt advice? give up porn, masturbation, edging and eveything. Go full cold turkey or you won't see any benefits

    Good luck!!

I think you should give up porn, masturbation and orgasm from any artificial stimulation. For me, masturbation was the real problem, because I became conditioned to cum with my hand instead of with a real person. I could get hard enough to penetrate a woman, but I could not ejaculate, because of the sensitization of fast movements and pressure from masturbation. Once I gave up masturbation, in 100 days, I had an amazing sex and I ejaculated inside of her. :D

Some people are of the assumption that spontaneous erections, morning wood, "superpowers," etc... occur as a result of reboot. They fail to grasp that reboot is an emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical transformation. At least it is for me. And it isn't the result of just X number of days. I see so many people here speak of confidence and "superpowers." I call it "nofap fervor." These people usually don't have 7 days or better. And they repeatedly fail, because they just don't get it. I, personally, won't expect to see the desired results for months or even up to a year or better. That doesn't mean that things aren't getting better, either. It means I have a lot of work to do. Hardmode is a scary concept for most of us. One can observe the many desperate souls on this site begging for help after failing repeatedly. But these people haven't wanted this bad enough to go the necessary lengths, either. They almost never mention an AP. And I think that's because they are afraid to commit to hardmode. Deep down, they know they're bullshitting themselves. So why have an AP. They assume that they can just post in a journal and get better, because they don't have to commit to hardmode. I am one of those people. I think hardmode is the way to go...for me.
