For me whenever I peeked at porn it is a definite relapse, like a point of no return. I have never prevented a relapse within 48 hours of seeing any sexually arousing material no matter I am aroused at first sight or not.

Just like today I peeked at porn and I actually wasn't aroused and I tried to leave my house to forget about it but no matter what I try whenever I look at porn it is a relapse for me. How can I stop this? I know the simple answer is quit watching porn, but nowadays there are so many triggers and p-subs online, which makes it hard to not accidentally seeing any porn.

  2. The battle is for your mind. For many of us, for years we have been letting these images and thoughts have complete run of our brain. You have to have a plan that will refocus your thoughts. There are many different approaches. Some are religious. Some are goal oriented. Another method is to think of the consequences of PMO and the rewards of quitting. I found a combination of my spiritual beliefs along with remembering the consequences and benefits were particularly helpful. Also books like your brain on porn and christian literature help me understand what had happened to my brain and how to redirect my thoughts and regain control of my mind.

    Well,
Quit surfing the places which have triggers!

Stay off the internet when you feel you’re gonna get urges.
Go out. This is something you do before the urges hit bad, not after.

    Stay Strong!
