Good question, website say you can recover. They say your brain rewires itself back to normal. And they say that if you have sexual dysfunction from masterbation that will also be healed.

My question is: if someone has been excessively ejaculating their whole lives from about age 12 to age 29, once per day, can the negative effects be reversed through semen retention or will semen retention just prevent/stop further damage without actually reversing previous damage?

Hello Martin, The answer is yes. According to Taoist Sexual Practices, your body will begin to regenerate. Your semen is POTENT life-force energy. That is why it is so important to hold onto it! So yes, overtime, you will not only “recover”, you will “regenerate”.

i would recommend that you take a 'Vitamin B Complex' and a supplement that has Omega-3 fatty acids in it, everyday. It's very helpfull in the recovery. Buy them both from the farmacy and make sure that the Omega-3 has alot of DHA in it (preferably 0.6gram per 5ml)

Go for a long period with no ejaculation (no sex, no masturbation) and ofc no porn at all. at least 3-6months. Im going for 1 year and this is my 34th day.

to make it easier to not masturbate, you should exercise at least 3 days a week, get alot of sun (lots of other benefits besides vitamin D)

If your interested in semen retension, as I am, may suggest you fap once a month the first few years just to keep the fluids cycling. Going from fapping everyday to complete abstainence is a recipe for prostate infection or worse.

    Hey kamado!!
Firstly yes your body and mind will heal greatly from nopmo.. But its a slow process buddy.. Nerves grow really slowely(previously thought they dont grow at all). I dont know about the researches but its what people experience.. You can watch gabe's life video for a refrence.. And there are many more such experiences shared in success stories..
Secondly, i dont think its due to semen retension sorry guys.. For me its about your habit.. Before while pmo you see those images and think about it so after such a long period of doing the same think your brain wires itself to it.. And with nofap, at first brain struggles to see or think about those images but later after months of nopmo and very little fantisizing your brain becomes habituated to this.. But everybody have their own view of it..
Main thing is you will get the ultimate prize but youve got to work hard for it
    Goodluck mate

    Yes. Absolutely.

It isn't easy and it isn't fast, but it is SO worth it.

Of course you do. If it was easy/painless, there would be no need for groups like this. It sucks. How bad depends on what you've been doing and how long you've been doing it, but it definitely sucks. But it's what you need to do to get to the other side.
