    Hi everyone,
My name is Manobhi. I - like everyone was a regular porn user and had a couple committed relationships throughout my teenage years and early 20s.
4 years ago at the age of 23 years old I made a complete lifestyle change and since then, never watched porn again - nor had the inclination to. Not only that, I've been part of a community where individuals have gone 10, 20, 30 even 50 years without such cheap indulgence. And the benefits? Unimaginable to your average "Joe Fap".
For the sake of keeping this post short and because I don't regularly frequent this site, if you would like to know more - msg me on Instagram @manobhi_1_kenobi if you'd like to know more.
I'm based in AKL, NZ but travel to Hamilton and other major cities occasionally. Just keen to share the methodology which helped me!

  2. Not easy, not hard. It's a path, it does not got elevators, so you just gotta walk.

  3. I’m skeptical of your intentions if you’re withholding information and you truly want to help people on here.

I'm a monk practicing Bramacharya (look it up). I prefer to keep my internet usage to a minimum but wanted to reach out to people.

IG is easy to use for me. All communication through one medium.

    Does that win your trust?

I only came on this forum because it's the only way to reach those in the community.

If you really care to know more just pm me on IG

Easy to say, when you have fought your battles and came out victorious, Nofap is not easy, otherwise everyone would be instantly cured by going cold turkey and immediately on 1000+ day streak lol.

Maybe what you meant to say, as you are going on streaks, winning your mental and physical battles, it becomes easier not to relapse. But Nofap in and of itself is hard.

It is easy for me to say, oh yeah bro, benching 100KG is super easy, but for the gym goers that entered the gym 2 months ago, it would be weird to say that right?

It's easy with the right means. That is - the right techniques and lifestyle. As mentioned above, I'm a monk practicing Bramacharya.

Mainstream society doesn't provide the means to be nofap in a sustainable way. Hence men find it difficult..

It's not a matter of mental strength alone, there is always temptations battering you day by day.

Nofap requires a way to gain actual mind and sense control. Any educational institute or government institute offering such support? Nope.

Hence I hope to provide an alternative methodology that works whether you're a drug addict, porn addict, food addict or all of the above.

Through the meditation I do guys have given up many debilitating activites, not just porn. It requires a higher taste, a better engagement.

Please msg me personlly on IG if you want to know more. Happy to meet on zoom or in person too.

    Thanks for the response

I guess you meant 1000Kg, because 100Kg is what 3yo babies bench. Anyway, thanks for your misleading suggestions. It will be of much help to all of those who are still confused and don't know what you really mean with your post. For the rest of us, I think we can just ignore it all.

Yup, you get the point... I hope...

  12. I'm kind of interested in buddhistic practices. But why would you prefer telling your story to people individually if you can reach everyone at once by typing it out once in here? I think you need a little more bait to lure people into messaging you on IG

Too much skepticism will get us nowhere.

As a monk I choose to limit my time on internet for practical reasons (and really... if the average joe wants to be NoFap he should avoid the internet altogether). I personally use messaging apps to avoid the internet world directly and engage with people on a 1 to 1 basis. Something which is undervalued in the internet age of social media and impersonalism.

I feel I've said enough now in the comments - so if you really want to be nofap then message me. It's not something that can be solved via reading an article I write on nofap - it requires daily effort and mentorship. In other words there's no quick solution to solving this issue. Sex desire is the strongest of all desires in this world, it has and is destroying the lives of many. Even the greatest yogis have fallen victim and completely lost all results of their practice. Therefore it's safe to say, you won't solve it by browsing this forum alone.

I'll leave the ball in everyone else's court at this point. If you want some advice that works msg me and I can help you deal with your own personal situation.

Yes. This is the only YouTube video of me. Not planning to become a YouTuber anytime soon :).

Thanks for posting - at least people can tell I'm a real person.

Religion and religious misconceptions/ preconceptions (Hare Krishna) aside - we have a methodology which anyone can perform by which many males have become porn/fap free.

So if you want a methodology that works I can help you out

    1) Reveal your issues to someone (preferably someone who doesn't fap at all) who will maintain confidentiality
    - Secrecy around fapping encourages our mind to urge us to continue the activity

    2) Stay away from smart phones and get a simple phone. If u have to use a smart phone only use it in public place.
    - When we are alone with our smart phone we are more likely to fall victim to the urges of our mind to engage in the activity

    3) Engage yourself In intense spiritual practices like mantra meditation and live with people who practice it as well.
    - Abstaining from the act of fapping is one thing, but you need something better to do to occupy your mind and channel your energies (See this link for a how to on mantra meditation - )

    4) Cover yourself in night nicely do not sleep naked. Studies show that when we sleep with less cloths on it leads to aggravation of sexual desires.

    5) Read uplifting literatures before going to bed that fill your mind with thoughts that aren't sexual in nature but pure. Preferably spiritual literature like the Bhagavad Gita.

    6) Never sleep in pitch dark. Have at least some light. A night light is recommended. Also keep some spiritual and calm music in the background quietly preferably the Hare Krishna mantra ().

    7) GIGO - "Garbage in garbage out". Take in consideration what you are eating, watching, hearing. One cannot win over masturbation if he’s eating food that agitated/aggravates genital's. Vegetarian dues without onion * garlic is recommended. NO MEAT. Similarly if you talk about sex, or watch sexualised content your mind will be thus affected.

These are some beginners tips for kicking the habit. If you can follow these then that is an amazing start. Of course you may not be religious or spiritual but in any case - what other methods are out there that are working for you???

Please take it from me, having changed my lifestyle in line with the above fapping has become a non-issue. I don't even consider doing the act anymore. All I can say is give the above a try!

If you have any questions on the above ask me.

Cool! In fact, you just have to meet the right person in life and you'll never want to masturbate again!
