Why Did I like transwomen?

It's all porn. Think about it, if you had never watched porn in the first place, chances are you would have never even known what a transgendered person was. All it is is the Coolidge effect and with substantial abstinence you will return to your natural sexual tastes.

 

This is quite a common fetish. All though a lot of straight guys fantasize about taking d*ck from a transwoman but would never do a homosexual activity with another man. It's just another result of becoming desensitized to normal pOrn and seeking out less-normal things to satisfy the growing desire for fresh, exciting material.
PS - Looking at Trans porn is in no way a bad thing, because they are just humans who choose to transverse gender boundaries. There are far worse things that people need to watch in order to get off.

 

I have this "fetish" too.... and it's true, when I imagine a sex with a transgendered person, or watched transgendered person porn, I always wanted to be the man, who pounded the transwoman...but therefore I have HOCD thoughts....and my mind started to "tell me" that I might be gay or bi...and I started to "check" men in streets, and sometimes I had arousal and that makes me very anxious.... what do you think, will it better with time? Could you suggest something to get myself better? Because in these days every day is a struggle....(I'm on day 22 in the reboot process)

(I fapped since the age of 10 or something like that, and watch porn from the age of 15....STRAIGHT porn, only the last few months when I started to watch transgendered person porn..., but I've heard somewhere in this site, porn itself can change sexual taste....It's not depending the stuff you watch, porn itself the reason...)

 

there are probably several routes into this fetish. one may have to do with the state of arousal of real woman being rather questionable. we all know that women fake not only orgasms but all forms of sexual interest all the time - to get love, to get money, respect or whatever.
an erect penis cum ejaculation, however, is an undisputable sign of arousal and one that all men can relate to.
in this case, it's far from a gay fantasy. in fact, it's a fantasy to undeniably be able to arouse and satisfy a female. put differently, you could say, it's about a deep desire to be on the same page as your partner sexually or a doubt about self-worth as a male.

 

On on other had, I've never seen an M4W or W4M personals ad that included the words "...or don't waste my time." And women have a lot of ways of wasting men's time.

 

Really all depends on if you like/attracted to transwomen/ transsexuals as real people or you just like fapping to transwomen in porn. If it was the latter then in was more than likely just a porn induced fantasy.

transsexuals on the other hand are just people born into the wrong gender. being attracted to them as a lover, Really depends on your open mindedness on excepting someone who wants to change the sex they were born into.

 

@Booster: i beg to respectfully disagree with you on sexual attraction being contingent on being open-minded to trans-people. i'm not at all biased against trans-people but am not attracted to them sexually, in the same way that i'm not biased against gay men, but am nonetheless not sexually attracted to them.
i think, that's one of the main mistakes many in the genre make, that they make sexual attraction a political issue. in that they make the same mistake as the religious right in the US, who presume people could just choose not to be gay.
sexual attraction is much more a visceral animal type function, which is why we are so slave to it. personally, i would prefer not to be attracted to the women i'm attracted to (or for that matter anybody at all), but one reason i'm in this forum is that i can't help it.

 

Its good to disagree sometimes, Thats what these forums are about. discussing porn related issues.

My only point was that a stunning transsexual looks like a stunning lady, pre-op or post op, most straight men would find them sexually attractive, Its only when they find out they were born a man or have a penis, does that opinion change. meaning they have issues regarding trans-people as with todays medical advancements you would never know that many transsexuals are born a man even after intercourse.

transwoman porn is very much a fetish to many, but dating a transsexual can be a normal healthy relationship. same way regarding obese porn and dating a lady thats over weight or flat chested porn and dating a lady that has no breasts.

Just because a person is fine dating a transsexual doesn't mean they have a porn induced fetish.

 

@Booster: thanks for your reply. i've personally known and befriended two transpeople in a non-sexual context and found that once i knew they were trans - although i liked them a lot - they were very far away from what my sensual instincts were conditioned for, which is straightforward femality.
and i do think that dating a pre-op transwoman is very different from dating a woman. even if you primarily connect romantically and sexuality is just an afterthought, you'll be deeply affected by the identity complication.
in the rare case (and it's still rare, typically if the op is planned from pre-teen times) that you have somebody adjusted so that you don't notice, for me, anyway, my perception would probably shift, as soon as i were to find out.
it's hypothetical, but from the glimpses i've had into this kind of experience, i would imagine that i maybe would still like her a lot as a person or not leave her but more out of consideration.
if i want to get rid of desire for a woman i can do so instantly with the most attractive woman, if i imagine that she is a dude. and that not transphobia, it's instinct or my lovemap, as they call it...
the point being that a sexual preference for 'transgendered people' is catering to an unusual sexual need beyond the simple procreational or identity affirmative one and is thereby a fetish. i don't have a problem with that but i believe it's typically rooted in excessive sexual needs, which are often caused by the overstimulation through porn.

@Blixer, Never said that person would have transphobia, but as you say your "instinct" has issues with the fact, so does mine thats just normal, i dont date obese women because i dont find them attractive but at no point am i against them. however i still think that many people can date transsexuals without it being a porn induced fetish.

 

@Booster: i agree with you that people can date transpeople for all kinds of reasons (as i said above, for example, if their fluidity is very high). actually the one transman i knew was dating another transman at the time, both thought they were gay men trapped in female bodies.
and, of course, not all fetishes are porn-induced.
i wonder, though, if not many sexual preferences that are outside the genetically programmed procreative mandate are due to some sexual frustration seeking a secondary alley for gratification. there was a study that was pointing to that with regard to stable sexual fantasies, but i don't right now know where to find it... porn, then, would be just one alley to increase need to fortify that search...

 

@ blixer one of my porn fetish is women with tattoos,, purely porn related, built on watching them in porn, will it be gone in 90 days or not im not sure I find them attractive on a female but is it just a trigger for porn? do all fetishes disappear after a reboot? all ive read so far is people go back to very basic loving sex needs

 

@Booster: that will be interesting... i couldn't tell with certainty.
i think tattoos are an availability indicator and they also indicate transgression (game for anything) and a bit of an open commitment to the dark side. - one study showed that teen girls get approached a lot more for sex (i.e. are perceived as more sexually mature) if they have tattoos and that's why they get them. whether they want to have sex or not, they want to indicate that they are not children anymore and want adulation for sexual reasons.
maybe you could tell whether you had frustrations with women signaling interest and then pulling back or a kind of madonna complex, where your women are so pure & amazing in your perception that you can't really let go and act out penned up sexual pressure.

 

@Blixer Im pretty sure im not that complicated, good upbringing and good girlfriends and then wife, was just a love of porn and the usual dopamine chase that got me here

 

i guess sexual preferences often have something mysterious to them but i think it's helpful to view them as serving a specific vacuum or need, which in turn is medication for something.
in deep reality, there are no beautiful women or fetishes, just sexual identity crises that are looking for indicators - regularly in mistaken ways - to resolve their pain.
it's a useful way to frame sexuality because it removes the toxic vivaciousness and 'harmless fun' type of attitude that are so conducive to slipping...
