    Hey guys

I recently relapsed after a 67 day streak. While I am pretty disappointed in myself I've noticed a trend after my relapses.

I have an extremely active chatterbox mind that wont keep quiet. To the point of really affecting my every day living. I do meditation and all that but it only helps a little. Anyways what i've noticed is that after my relapses my mind goes quiet. Like dead quiet.
Just peace and calm up there for hours to days after my relapse. Suddenly I feel present and 'sedated'.

Does anyone know why? Pretty curious even thought im still gonna start climbing for 90 again.

    Thank you

Lo importante es que no veas eso como algo bueno y sea un detonante... 67 días es mucho tiempo ....Sigue adelante, Véalo como un desliz ....o una reacción de su Cerebro....

  3. Why does a smoker feel better after they have had a cheeky smoke after a few hours without one? Because they have alleviated their withdrawal symptoms.

Beacause reward systems in your brain are reinforced after a relapse. That's why we are addicted in PMO.

  5. It's exactly as @Giacomo Leopardi said, you feel calmer because the addiction won. All the chatter in your mind and the feeling of unrest is the addiction trying to trick you into relapse. And, after awhile, it worked. Part of recovery is learning to get through all that without relapsing because you learn other healthier ways of getting through it.

When the addiction is starving, it will make you believe all kinds of things, including that your sex drive is high, but withdrawal is not the same as sex drive. What you're saying may be true for someone who is not an addict, but for someone who is, the addiction wants dopamine and couldn't care less about impregnating woman.
