I just thought of this but I don't really believe it because it is ridiculous. But it's interesting to think about this. Note: I made this up

Sometimes I feel porn is secretly a feminist plot to weaken and control men. It seems to me that all porn on the Internet is targeted towards men, so that they can get addicted and weaken themselves as a result. And of course, the evidence is that the women themselves are the stars of all those porn graphic material. Additionally, maybe it's just me, but it seems that whenever I see someone recommending masturbation as "healthy", it's almost always a woman.

Weak men result in women being able to take over. A lot of people nowadays are lamenting the decline of men, and the rise of high speed pornography is probably a major reason. Women are starting to get better grades in school than men, among other successes that women are achieving, and this is probably a result of porn addiction among men, which the feminists create as part of their evil scheme

Totally ridiculous conspiracy theory, please take it with a grain of salt. But it's an interesting thought nevertheless

I'd have to disagree, as its usually the woman in your life who is hurt by it. Sadly I have discovered my husband of nearly 14 yrs has been using and addicted to porn for the last 10. He says it started when I got sick (I have a chronic illness, lyme disease, it's been an absolute nightmare, I have looked death in the eyes, have had 9 surgeries, oh and just had our two children right before I got sick).... you can't explain to someone what your mind, body and spirit go thru with lyme disease, I have lost many friends who have either died from it, or took their own lives because its so miserable. I THOUGHT I was being a good wife and mother, he will never really be able to know what I pushed thru, when all I really wanted was to give up and die myself. Over 60 symptoms from insane pain, it literally felt like my sacrum was splitting in two, and every other joint like hot lava flowing thru my body, I was nauseous and throwing up every day for 3 years, seizures, etc etc etc... doesn't matter....he wasn't getting enough sex and started looking at porn. I started to feel better, and my sex drive came back with a vengance, not that we ever stopped having sex completely, a few times a month... so we are having sex several times a week, sometimes more than once a day, and he's still jerking it to all these other naked women. because by this point he was addicted. He developed ED at age 35, started taking supplements from sex shops to help, which they did, and it was great... of course in my head I was thinking , it really sucks that I'm not enough on my own to get my husband hard. he blamed it on medications or weight or whatever... and we kept on for years using the supplements, and viagra etc. then this year even the pills stopped working. he would get a little hard, I would touch him, or give him a bj, or he'd enter me, and go soft... imagine the mindfuck I'm having! I'm an attractive woman, I'm a sexual woman...I didn't get it. I was crushed. THen the porn revelation came about, and we are dealing with all that now.

Actually this is not strike of feminists against men but rather strike of corporations against common sense... and not only with porn but on all fields of life. Porn is easy to sell because procreation is one of basic human needs.

I agree, and am reminded of a story...

A bunch of bright, well intentioned people are sitting in a ground floor room discussing what they each thought was going on in the world and offering solutions.
As time passes by the room gradually becomes unbearably hot. Some take off their sweaters, others roll up their sleeves. One of them suggests they need a little air, so she opens the windows. Another suggests they close the windows again and switch on the air conditioning.
'It's the sun that's the problem', suggests another, 'I'll draw the curtains'
One person, who works with acupuncture knows of a special point on the elbow. 'Just massage this point', he says, 'and it will help cool you down.'
One woman works with flower remedies and has with her a small bottle of drops. She's pretty sure that a couple of drops under the tongue will help cool every one down whilst somebody else suggest the group visualise a cool blue colour as they put the drops in their mouths.
All of these people mean well and are offering the solutions they feel will help. Some are experts in their fields.
Each person focuses on the heat in the room which is felt by everyone present and on what he or she perceives to be the problem and/or solution. No-one seems to notice the fire raging in the basement.

Porn is made by men, the worst kind, the kind of men that use women as objects, assault them, drug them, submit them and break them.

They are scum, it has evil intent to it i believe, but feminism has nothing to do with it, feminism is designed to destroy women (in my opinion).

That's quite a narrow way of thinking tbh. Not all porn is made by men, not all porn features women and not every woman believes they're being exploited. Besides, to condemn these people as scum, makes us scum too for enabling it to exist.

There are plenty of grey areas. but in all honesty, this is about my recovery and nothing to do with morals or politics.

Interesting perhaps, but a giant cop-out. No offense, I know it's only a theory, but it's a misogynist idea. Don't blame women for a male problem. The conspiracy all along has been oppression by men. If women are finally overcoming that, that's a victory for them, a good thing. How we men feel about it is our thing.

I guess if you want to get into the conspiracy of all of it we could take it a step further... not only is it about money, but we all know that watching porn actually causes chemical changes in the brain. It changes who you really are. so if the powers that be (ie illuminati and all that, if you wanna go there lol), if their goal is truly to undermine real relationships, tear men and women apart, etc then that kinda can make sense as a conspiracy... it also, aside from the actual chemical changes, puts unrealistic expectations on men and women. the women in porn are always ready to go, and over act how great it is, so men who watch it may think thats how women should act during sex, and start thinking theres something wrong with them if the woman they are with isn't going totally crazy in that sense... and women, well it shows us thats how sex is supposed to be, and these massive orgasms... I think its like 70% of women have never had an orgasm, so they think something is wrong with them, when in reality women are more emotional creatures... I never had an orgasm until I was with my husband. I think the reason for this is because I felt safe... whereas every other man in my life hurt me, or I just knew it wasn't right... after I found out my husband was addicted to porn, I could NOT have an orgasm! It scared me. I like it, I love it, when its with him. But now that we've talked, and talked, and talked, and I've cried, and cried and cried, we now have a much deeper, more meaningful relationship, and we made love THREE times the other night. Guys I'm telling you, the way to get to that mind blowing, earth shattering sex with a woman is thru her emotions... not to say to play with her emotions. Make her feel wanted, loved, sexy, SAFE. It really does make a difference. The same also goes for women, I know my husband reacts much better when he is feeling loved and wanted and sexy to me. It doesn't matter how many oogling eyes you get from other people, how many advances you get from other people, the ONLY person whose opinion matters to me is HIS.

idk if this makes sense, lol, it does in my head, but I have just recently found out about my husbands porn use, and honestly haven't been sleeping well, I can't think clearly, yet I can't stop thinking, so anymore I feel like a babbling idiot

OP, you are on to something, though I do not believe that it is a plot consciously hatched by feminists. I do believe that pornography is rooted in evil, not good and that evil is pleased as PMO worms its' way through our younger generations. While overly macho males are not a missed commodity, strong masculinity is being eroded through PMO.

Think about the concept of honor and respect. These are hypocritically destroyed by the porn actors, directors, etc. themselves then they have giant award shows and expect to be honored and respected as serious artists. It's a vicious circle of desparation for all involved.

I have had the same type of thoughts, I always thought someone made it to destroy men and trick them so they can gain control and power. It makes sense. I don't think someone thought porn would be a good idea and then just suddenly made it. I think someone did it too change others and the world around us. You never know what danger lies in things that were made from people that trick us.

I don't think this is true. I hear it all the time "where are all the real men at". Many women are looking for a strong man in their life. And evidently, since there are men striving with pornography in their life, internet pornography is not a problem for everyone.

I think for women there is more a stigma involved with masturbation, as if it's a sin. Where as with men it's considered normal. Men's minds are driven to reproduce as many times as possible, it doesn't matter how many women, the goal is to inseminate as many as possible. Where as with women, they are only able to carry one mans baby at a time. Their brains are wired entirely different then ours, leading men to be more prone to addiction.

Also anatomically women who masturbate is different, usually clitoral stimulation with less actual fucking. Now I could be totally incorrect about this because I have not spoken to women about masturbaiting, nor do I plan to, but I feel like women masturbaiting is intrinsically different then men.

My sister is into all the spiritual b*** s*** and to quote her "women receive energy from a man during sex, while the man gives their energy".

Thank you for this, always helpful to hear a woman's perspective that this is not victimless to the women in our lives our who would be were it not for this insidious addiction. Best to you and your husband in your recovery.

    Press on regardless,
