do urges really stay after 1 week?

    Hi guys,

so I'm at day 12. It seems the urges have been getting gradually weaker over the last week. I am not urge free, but it is definitely getting easier. I am assuming it continues to get steadily easier as I get more distance between the last time I did PMO?

But there are many people on here who are on day 20 or more, and they are still talking about fighting the urges. So some people say their urges are worse?

So what's the deal guys? Maybe the usual course is for things to get worse again before they get better?

I noticed such a feature that it comes in waves. It gets easier and easier every time. At some point, my urges disappeared and I was in a terrible mood (flat line). I do reboots for 30 days. And probably the most difficult periods are in the middle of the month and the beginning. I wish you good luck friend. Read the book by Gary Wilson. There is a lot of useful information there. The book describes very well what urges are, how to identify them and pass them. There is also a site, it has all the same information

In my own experience during the last streak I had nearly zero urges the first couple days. Then during the second week I had a few urges creep up on me which caused me to look at pics but didn't M. And finally on the 15th day I was taken out of the game due to an urge I failed to resist. So yeah. They do. They'll sneak up on you if you let them.

hi guys, thanks for your thoughts. So i understand that it will generally get better over time, but urges can still jump out at any time. i think staying busy and focussed is key.

Hey, I was reading some of your journal. Some very good ideas. I am also doing some meditation and jogging. I'm also doing calisthenics - pushups/pullups etc. I am tracking my progress on fitness together with my PMO, which really helps give me focus and goals.

My plan today is to do a plan for cooking my own meals - I seem to live off microwave food and supermarket sandwhiches! Also, need to book in regular hobbies each week.
