Need advice on wet dreams

    So I currently am on the longest streak I've ever been and something weird has happened.

    Usually I only get wet dreams in the first couple months as my body and brain try to reboot itself. However, over the past week I feel like I've had a wet dream every 2 days and I'm not sure why. Especially over the past couple months I've barely had any.

    I was wondering if overstimulation (like too much dopamine from sweets, social media, junk food) could be a contributor bc I can't think of any other reason. Bc last week was Diwali and every Hindu knows that when Diwali comes around there's no escaping the sweets and fried snacks.

    Well, i dont know about the sweets, but social media(sexual content) and sexual thoughts/fantasies surely contribute to wet dreams. Not majorly, but it’s a factor. Limit any situation that can make you urges go wilder.
     
  3. Don't worry. I'm rebooted and once every two months, sometimes once a month I get a wet dream. It's irritating, because of the chaser effect, but I try not to think too deeply about it. I tried to pinpoint reasons for them, but they happen at random.

    Well, maybe I have one correlation: about 70-80% of my wet dreams happened when I slept on my back. I sleep on my chest, but rarely I turn on my back involuntarily. Since it's rare for me to sleep on my back, I found this to be some sort of a correlation, but maybe it's just accidental.

    When I'm afraid of wet dreams (because they weaken my mood), I either exercise or take a cold shower before going to bed. 95% I've never had a wet dream afterwards. Also, don't go to bed feeling horny. Take time to calm yourself. These are the only pieces of advice I have. Cheers!

    But that's why i was confused because I hadn't seen anything sexual or have sexual thoughts.

    Well, everybody reacts differently. Could be your body position when you sleep, could just be how your brain really misses that excitement of Pmo. Just dont bother about it, am sure it rate at which u will experience wet dreams will become longer than before. Just focus on the reboot

    Hey mate! I understand your concern about wet dreams. It is okay If you're getting wet dreams twice in a week. But in your case you're getting wet dreams every 2 days which is not supposed to happen. Did you come accross any triggers like attractive women on social media? Or anything which can trigger you towards orgasm? Well , I would suggest you to meditate atleast twice a day , first meditation early in the morning and second meditation at night before going to bed. While meditating , you must chant any god's name to whom you pray. You've to imagine the figure of that God giving you blessings for a happy life , successful life , and giving you the power to conquer all your problems in life. After that you've to visualise the future , your life is now changed , you've successfully quit your addiction , you're more productive and energetic now , you can imagine all positive changes which you wish to see in yourself. this way of meditation will give you lot of positivity and will help you in your Bramhacharya.   7. Try taking a high potency multiple vitamin with at least 20mg of zinc to strengthen your reproductive system which may help you better retain your semen when you sleep.
    Male reproductive system enhancing/strengthening herbs like maca and ashwagandah(good for resting and relieving stress) may help too but make you horny in process, which is not a bad thing in and of itself.

  8. I've been taking high dosages of chelated zinc for years (doctor's recommendations) and vit. E, D, C. I don't really care about semen retention, but good to know, I'm somewhat doing that.

    Hi, I meditate and do yoga everyday and I stopped using social media (not because of this but just stopped seeing the point). That's what was curious, I didn't see any triggers. And even now I'm just horny, I think it has to do with the fact that I'm a 21M and this is just a natural thing.

    I will be mindful of this, thank you! Over the past week they have reduced, but instead now I'm experiencing leakage some mornings which is super annoying. Hopefully, over time this resolves itself.
