    Hello,

I'm wondering what are the positive sides that we all made a big mistake in our lives to start watch pornography? I know that it sounds strange, but I belive that there are some gains - in our personalities that they are getting stronger when we conquer this PMO addiction and finally win.
Have you ever wonder how your life would looks like if you hadn't started watching porn?

I am sure that we can learn a lot from NoFap. Eventually we will win not just our sexuality back, but we will be much much wiser and psychically stronger than without this addiction in our past.
As someone wisely once said "Hard times creates strong man."

    Stay strong brothers!

I think the other me would be better. But I’m doing the best I can with what I have, so idc to fantasize about how my life would have been.

Once you're no longer weighed down by P you can be just as good if not better than the "other you". "Other you" wouldn't have knowledge and experience about P and would therefore be vulnerable to falling into P addiction still.

Giving up an addiction makes you stronger. I see the positive in everything now. I can’t change the past. But I can become a better version of me.

Not at all, other me would probably be more focused so he wouldn’t become addicted to P, he’d probably be a gymnast, maybe have a girlfriend, maybe wouldn’t have wasted 2 years looking for the right career choice. But I’ll accomplish all those things anyways, so I’m just a delayed version of my better self.

Honestly even if in some alternate universe you achieved those things, it wouldn't necessarily mean you wouldn't become addicted. There are lots of focused and successful people who get hooked on all kinds of shit including P.

Addictions are inevitable. It’s how we respond to them that counts. We can’t go through life without adversity.

Sure, but if I can’t asume that, why could you assume that you are stronger than your “other self” and that he would be vulnerable to addiction? I was just making a counter point. But as it’s fantasy world, let’s have it your way; can’t hurt to be over optimistic, right?

I believe becoming "addicted" or at least having problems with P is almost inevitable for a lot of people today.
My "other self" would likely just be someone who didn't have the courage to make the decision to stop.
I could fantasize about being someone who lived in a word without any P to get addicted to I guess? But if I stop watching P it dosent matter. That's why I say you can be just as good if not stronger in this aspect, because in both cases you're not addicted to P.
