Hey everyone, I don't see any posts on here talking about fasting, just thought I would make a quick mention.

I don't fast often, only a few times in my life. Last week I did my first mini-fast in a long time -- it wasn't a true fast -- but in the morning I had a small amount of coffee with almond milk, then around lunchtime I made myself a protein shake... and then a few hours later I made myself a carrot/orange juice with my juicer. Then I had dinner around 6:30pm

So this wasn't a true fast, but I did greatly reduce the amount of food I ate that day. And I still haven't relapsed since my last fasting day, which I did the first day after my last relapse.

There is also a biblical quote about related to fasting that Jesus spoke of. It was in the context of healing a child from a sickness, but I think it can apply to strong porn urges as well

"However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" << this is the quote

So, if any of you are really struggling with relapses... maybe you could try to skip breakfast one day, or have a liquid diet for one day.

I am fasting right now (sort of).. I had a little bit of coffee this morning and also some pineapple. I did have some strong urges this morning, but I have no urges right now. Monday is usually the day I relapse because I don't have school or work this day. So I chose today to do this little fast.

I also drink a lot of water. Again, I am not truly fasting, but I am semi-fasting
