    Hi guys,

Today really sucked and I still can't believe I haven't relapsed yet. It's been so tough and I was one click away. I even started making plans in my head to PMO and I quickly went out for a walk. I decided to come on here for some motivation to keep pushing. Anything will do guys. Thanks

  2. Hey man, did you end up breaking ?

Keep it up. Get mad. These traps are all around us, and they use it take control of us. How dare they!

    We need to break free.

You have a sixteen day run going. Well done!

Remind yourself that you're stronger than this nonsense. Remind yourself that your body will do what you tell it to and not the other way around. YOU are the master and will not be enslaved by the empty promises that hide a grotesque PMO monster beneath.

  6. dude don't quit im at day 13 and had 2 or 3 streaks like this its worth the effort, makes life more enjoyable. Also let those feeling take you for a ride it'll make it easier in the long run and creates more resistance to those feelings but you CANT fail or that counter goes bye bye. Not worth it

Here's a simple technique. Well actually it's complicated.

Step one. Every single day set a short term goal. I will not fantasize today. Zero sexy Google searches

Step two. Cheer yourself on like your favorite sports team. I can do it… I can do it… I can do it…. Ever watch how javelin thrower's at the Olympics try to get the crowd to fire them up. Well… Do this to yourself

Step three. Put a smile on your face when you're doing this cheer. This is the facial feedback hypothesis if you put a smile on your face, even forced, it will improve your mood and give you a nice bit of wholesome dopamine.

Step four. Every day that you make it through the entire day without fantasizing are looking at any sexy images, use a random number generator to give yourself the chance of a little prize. I give myself a 1% chance every day to treat myself to a new album download, or my favorite restaurant. Every day, picture how good it will feel to make it through the day and earning a chance for a prize… I can do it I can do it I can do it

Step, part B. If you make it a whole month, use a random number generator to give you a chance at a bigger treat. When I go in entire month, I have a 10% chance of getting 1/4 of a dirtbike. I need to roll that four times. So if I can go consistently for a year and a half, the odds are… I am getting myself a dirtbike.

Note… Unpredictable rewards have been found to be more motivating than guaranteed rewards. So rather than give yourself a guaranteed reward, give yourself the chance of reward

I have had some awful days as well, but some amazing ones too! I'm on day 33, by far my longest streak. Sending you positive vibes...

  9. If you find yourself at the point where your on a good day maybe try looking at the situation and say why would I give up days like this for one moment for that feeling, then the next 3 to 5 days depends on your recover time feeling like crap

Going for a walk was a good move man. Go for a run...Kaze591 said "Get mad". Your fighting a battle and you should see it as such. Its true. I go running and that allows me to actually feel like I'm exerting against something. It helps me a lot. Your doing fine and you will do better. Keep it up!
Dreams has a good point...your gonna give up a full day of feeling great for 5 minutes of a feeling that will disappear? Not worth it....

Hey what helps is meditating. When you focus on planning to do pmo or resisting the urge to break all you're really doing is throwing wood into the fire. What you focus on grows. So break that train of thought by meditating and clearing your head.

Another way to think about it is that you just went 16 days without doing it. You can go for another 16 because you just did 16. If that seems to much. Push for 10, if that seems to much go for 5. If that's to much then go for another day. If all else fails then fuck it. Go for the next 30 minutes without it. When that time frame is up, then go for another 30 minutes. And so on and so on.

Hey there, we're on the exact same day. I know how you're feeling right now. For the last week, I've had some really strong temptations. Sitting here now, I have a lot of sensitivity downstairs begging for stimulation, but I'm realizing something. I don't have to say yes. I can just ignore it. Realizing that you are in control is hugely important to success. In my signature there is a bunch of helpful advice. The video is especially good, although I don't agree with a lot of the other videos the guy makes. If you watch the video, which I encourage, it's important to remember you are not trying to physically feel, just imagining the feeling.
All those tips and tricks are good, but they don't work for me when I'm not praying. My success at nofap is directly tied to prayer, so if you aren't opposed to it, try a 'Hail Mary.'

I would have to say that meditation has helped me immeasurably over the years. Its very good advice.
jdawg9 says: "what you focus on grows" and that is very true. Another way to put it is: you are what you think about. Meditation can be a very useful tool for not only observing your thought patterns but also for recognizing and redirecting them to things that are helpful and more wholesome.

On day 16 too, I really need help...

  19. I'd avoid this site and only use it if you're about to relapse and just look at the benefits of others that's about it. You probably have benefits of your own review those, maybe since you feel you're about to relapse then the next day you'll be strong then when you had those strong urges the previous times
