Ok so I keep getting tripped up by porn substitutes, and it's ruining everything. Basically I am totally committed to no PO and so it's like my subconscious looks for anything which might even vaguely stimulate.

Once I relapse and realize the cause I add it to what is porn for me. The problem is the ball keeps moving.

If anyone has struggled through this scenario and has advice let me know. Otherwise I'm giving voice to this, very frustrating.

I did stuff like that for a while. What helped me was basically paying more attention to my own feelings and intervening earlier. There's a feeling that comes before searching for p-subs, sort of a normal urge for porn mixed with some serious denial and rationalization.

Try to make it a habit to ask yourself, before you click on any link or type in a url or whatever you're doing, "why am I doing this?" If even part of the answer is "because it'll turn me on," close it out and walk away. It's hard at first but eventually it becomes a habit - or it did for me, at least.

I think you just focus way too much what you don´t want instead of what you want.
You gonna do what you think and if you think "I shall not watch porn" 24/7, then guess what :D

You can turn off picture loading on your browser, that made me finally getting on a "streak" rather than only 3-4 days

Get rid of dating sites.. restrict yourself from social media.. even movies. And secular music if you are feeling hardcore. The dating sites were the biggest trigger for me because it is pretty much porn the way girls take pictures of themselves these days.

    Ok, guys, good thoughts.

Ol' what's his f- I think I know the feeling you speak of. Kind of a clammy anxious feeling, I will try to develop awareness and a habitual response.

Steve- that could be a problem for someone, in my case I'm past that and not really thinking about porn at all most of the time, like for days, let alone focusing on not using it. My problem is that a subtle hint of sensuality will work it's way into my mind and get me to a place where I am primed to lapse.

Proceed- yep, identifying sources of pbsubs and getting rid of them, I can probably change a couple things.

    Thanks guys.
