Something akward happened at school...

    So, I had to write an article about no matter what for Dutch as a task.

    I decided to write about porn addiction and NoFap...
    But, I forgot to put my name on the task...
    So miss yelled through the whole class: "Who wrote about porn addiction and NoFap?".
    * Muslimnoporn rises hand cautiously *
    * Whole class begins laughing *, lmao that was just really akward.

    The positive side: got an 18,5/20 on that task.

    That was very courageous of you. People were laughing, but who knows, may be there were one or two porn addicts among them who became aware of their behavior for the first time.

    That's kinda funny, but don't feel awkward about it! It's natural for a person to laugh when they're not serious about something, so don't mind. If they consider the drawbacks of pornography, good. If they don't accept it, or don't care, it's their choice, treat the laughter as good socialising. :rolleyes:

    Maybe lol, porn is something they talk about a lot in my class, I bet they are all pornaddicts. :')
    Nobody knows I'm abstaining, sometimes tho' when they are talking about fapping and asking me I can say proudly (when I got a high streak): "Haven't fapped in a month", they would all be like: Wow Muslimnoporn congrats milestone reached not fapping for a month. :')
    Yeah I treated it as something good even though it was embarassing af, I was there with my head on my bank: "Me, miss". It is a weird subject it is normal that they laughed lol.

    That's also true lol, one begins laughing and the rest follows.

    Yeah, lol. :D I bet they are all pornaddicts! o_O I bet quite a few of them privately respect you. But it is healthy not to take yourself too seriously in life, lol. It's just that as teens we are as self-conscious as fuck! Good subject to write about mate.

    Hey I also reccently wrote about nofap in an essay for school although reluctantly and am really glad I did. Its respectable to have written about it, and even more respectable to have taken ownership in front of the class. And people were probably just laughing when the teacher said "porn addiction" because it can be a seemingly funny and lighthearted topic to those misinformed.

    I dont think so. Owning up to your mistakes and correcting them is definitely not a mistake according to me. I also had a mindset like yours in the beginning but after talking to other people about it in this forum I have realized it is what defines you you shouldn't be ashamed of it. :)
