Does anyone else struggle with watching homemade porn and trick yourself into it being ok because it's not porn star style content? I have a hard time with this as I feel like I try and justify using P because "it's just other couples wanting to share their sex." Just wondering if anyone else ever feels this way, I've been P free for the last 32 days and MO'd only twice in the last month but dang sometimes the urges to look at the homemade stuff are strong!
Yep - lots of ways to talk ourselves back into watching porn. Like you say, the urges are strong! But you can be stronger. One thing I've found useful that I picked up here (though it sounds trite) is to just say to yourself "No, I don't do that anymore" and move your thoughts on to other things.

Porn is porn no matter how you choose to view it. It will make you feel the same in the end because you are the "spectator" in this scenario and that has a negative impact on our brains.
I used to justify my porn watching because I would never watch nothing but amateur porn as well. I think that's why I'm currently battling the cam sites now and other porn doesn't interest me anymore.
It sucks right? Especially on places like reddit where there are whole subs dedicated to amateurs showing their stuff.
I used to watch it because it seemed more "realistic" and natural. But itll only lead to more evils. I racked up a bill of $500 (plus I relapsed to another $80 today) on the cam sites because again I try to justify it being not so bad because its "nautral". I felt like a drug addict rushing home today to log onto the cam site. I literally made up an excuse/lie to go home from work just to watch/pay a cam girl to masturbate. If that ain't selfishly wicked and evil than I don't know what is. Keep pressing on though because the point is now we know the truth and we know the right way. To give up would be to deny the truth.
