Stomach Issues (IBS) and Porn

Whenever I'm resisting an urge my stomach goes haywire, I hate it so much. I'm not sure if that's what you were talking about but if it is I just try to slow my breathing to slow down the circulation of blood.

 

Yes, I have bad IBS. I think it was more to do with anti-biotic over-use for me, but I have often wondered about the role porn may play. Unfortunately I have to say that even when I've managed a good streak (25-30 days being my general limit in recent times) my stomcah hasn't improved. But there's no denying the link between the stomach and the brain - I suggest reading the book "Gut", by German researcher Giulia Enders, which covers new scientific insight into this (she also has stuff on YouTube). So given all the stuff I've read about how our brains are affected by porn use, it would make sense that the stomach is too.

 

I can relate, I have similar problems man. I am sure that there is a link between digestion and the porn use (or maybe the anxiety what porn causes)

I can relate too. In my case anxiety and stress caused by resisting porn destroys my digestion process I am losing all my gains and it is sad because I've put a lot of effort to get them.

 

It could well be a pyschosomatic symptom of the stress of not watching porn. Trying drinking ginger and or mint teat throught the day. That will help

From my 0 to 25/30 days, it was very normal to feel cold in the belly(stomach). Then after this period the sensation starts to gone way.
Searching in the internet abount dopamine, i found a post about "the love chemistry". It says:

"To get the couple together, the brain feel itself with 'love' - In this case there is a increase realeasing of hormones of dopamine and norepinephrine. These ones causes the tipics sensation of passion, insomnia, cold in the belly(stomach) and obsessive thoughts for the loved person."

So it's looks like when you conscious, subconscious or some trigger says to your brain that you will find someone, or see something, so it must be preparing itself just releasing some dopamine.
