Does anybody else awake to find themselves thrusting their nocturnal erections into their mattress?

This used to be a once in a blue moon occurrence for me, but it has turned into a regular thing since I have tried to gain control over my masturbation problem.

I have been masturbating regularly since the age of 12, I am now 42. So, I have never built up enough sexual frustration to allow my body to be able to achieve an orgasm, e.g. a wet dream, through non physical stimulation means. This is what I believe to be at the root of this problem.

I can really use some help on this problem. I fear I may never be able to beat my addiction as long as I have this problem.

Thanks for your help with this embarrassing problem,

Exact problem here. No real solution other then changing your sleep position.

I agree with melancholyweightlifter. After getting used to sleeping on your back or side, I think your body will just naturally get used to normal sleep. Best of luck, man.

I am glad to here that I am not the only one with this unusual problem MelancholyWeightlifter. It makes it seem not quite so bad. And I do change my position when I awaken to find myself thrusting. But I am a very active sleeper. I do not sleep in one position. So, I will eventually roll over onto my stomach when I have an erection and start thrusting. Or I will develop an erection while sleeping on my stomach and start thrusting.

There may not be a solution to this problem other than time. I assume if I abstain long enough I will eventually have a wet dream from my thrusting efforts. Maybe after it finally happens it will gradually become easier to get a much needed release every so often. I wouldn't want to replace a nightly thrusting problem with a nightly nocturnal emission problem, though. That might be even more embarrassing at my age.

Thanks for the help Melancholy and you too Reallygottastop. If I ever find something that works I will pass it on.

    Thanks,

    Geyser

There is one thing. Try to make sure your thoughts are free from sex around bed time(Well, really all the time, but especially at night). I've found the more preoccupied I am and the more fantasies I allow the more likely this is to happen. Before bed try meditating and calming yourself. Maybe read a good book(Without sexual themes of course.) Also try to make sure you don't fall asleep with an erection.

I think I've read posts on here that said thrusting in the middle of the night is not intentional, so it would be something not to worry about nor would it be considered a relapse.
