I was wondering if fantasizing slow down rebooting or not?! It very hard to even reduce fantasizing about girls, sex, woman's body.... It's most powerful in the morning while waking up and during the day....Also i belive kissing or even cuddle with girls or grab em :) can make all process slowing down.... I need opinions?!

May be this all factors will lead to a possible relapse, so having a control always works..

  5. Not really. I do fantasize sometimes but I get out of the cloud when I catch myself. Distract yourself with something

Fantasising will raise dopamine levels but the worst you ca do is fantasie about porn as that will hurt your re-wiring progress. Don't do it.

I have some fantasies that enter my mind from time to time. I don't indulge in them. I think about them for a few seconds.

Perhaps I could be stricter and slap myself. Maybe it does slow down the process some.

I know one thing. Those small fantasies haven't caused me to feel like I do when I look at the traditional medium of porn, pictures and videos and MO. So I don't sweat them.

what do you mean fantasize about porn, as in fantasize about watchin viewing porn, or just having a sexual fantasy?

who doesn't normally have sexual fantasies crossing his mind?

you shouldn't be fantasising during your reboot, ESPECIALLY with porn.

    Fantasizing about women = Good
    Fantasizing about P.M.O. = Bad

It's a natural thing the brain does when it wants something. I once watched a lecture of a psychology professor and he said that happiness is at it's highest when you think about something you want, not when you get something you want. You see, in a way, fantasizing is what makes us happy. We all LOVE to think about the things we want, imagine the time we have the things we want, imagine what would it be like, anticipating.
    It's okay.

  12. Fantasizing about women is good and a healthy thing but for a PMO addict even that has to be kept in check. I learned the hard way, too much fantasy even if it's just about plain vanilla sex with a female can lead to a relapse. So for me, I'm going to have to keep all forms of fantasy in check moving forward until I'm in a better place in my recovery.

I start fantasizing when I’m in my bed, the thoughts just come to my mind, but the frequency is starting to slow down as the times pass. Also I think the urges to M is getting weaker when the thoughts begins.

I will be more cautious with that, thanks for the tips.

  16. From personal experience, the answer is yes. Thoughts will pop into your head but you need to gently push them back out. Don't give the thought energy by thinking about it more. Fantasizing is what led me to relapse. Eventually I'll be able to fantasize in a healthy way but I'm just not ready.

what about fantasizing pertaining to a real girl that you personally know/knew...

what i'm trying to understand is, the subject matter that should not be fantasized about.

Essentially, one should not be fantasizing about porngraphic visualizations, sexual visualizations?

or not fatasizing of say 'scenes you're able to recall of a adult film'...
