I never had the talk either. I think mom and pop thought the school would take care of it, while the school (at the time) thought it was something mom and pop should do.

  4. They were too busy and unaware of the potential dangers of the Internet, as are so many parents of this generation.

I think that's what led me astray. Not much sex guidance from school and parents, but there was this shiny new internet thing to fill that void...

  6. Too busy to bring up their child properly? o_O That is a lame excuse. They didn't have to know anything about the internet. They had a duty of care to give you sex education - to have The Talk with you. They were negligent that's all there is. :(

  7. Well in my case, again, there was fighting between my parents and a divorce in the works that my mother didn't even want, she was the only one who could of given it to me and she was going through a lot during that time.

I got the talk, but it was a joke. I was given a PG rated booklet to read, and a week later Dad asked me if I had any questions. I had two that he adeptly avoided. I quickly decided that this was not a useful source, and thanked him, ending the session, to his great relief. He did tell me that I could come to him if I ever had a question. I never had any interest in a repeat of that unproductive stress. That was before the internet, so I was limited to the public library. That meant reading a lot of bad novels for occasional instructive scenes.
Upon reflection, I had the idea that Mom had pushed Dad into the talk after noticing crusty evidence in my pijamas that I had begun to dream. I saw no evidence from him that he had any personal interest in the process. Many years later, my son was more than adequately instructed at school and on the internet. In grade school, it was evident that he could answer my questions far better than Dad ever did.

  9. Sex education from parents and especially schools are a fucking joke!
This is a wooden penis. This is how you put a condom on it. That´s basically it.
If we would talk about this more openly, we would have a lot less STDs, teen pregnancy oh and less PAs too!

Nobody ever talks about sex, and if they do, they do it in a completely twisted, fucked up way!

One more thing for you to think about:
You get thrown in jail, for having sex in front of your kids.
But letting them watch porn? Absolutely legal!

My kids are going to have sex education from me and not from porn!! And if I get thrown into jail for this, I will go there with the satisfaction, that I did the right thing!

  10. Uh, having sex in front of your kids is illegal, you can still teach them... I hope your not talking about making them watch you have sex... That's not appropriate, just tell them...

    .__.

  13. Also, watching porn under 18 IS illegal... Its just not enforced because it happens so much and the politicians are probably high on it themselves and don't care.

  14. I´m not talking about forcing them to anything.
But if they forced me to do it or otherwise they are going to watch it on the internet, well I know what my choice would be. I am very aware that the situation will never come, I was just trying to make a point.

I´d rather if my kids drink alcohol, smoke weed or take extacy, rather then watching porn.

Had the talk and was very misinformed by it. I definitely think that contributed to this addiction, I learned everything from porn.

  16. Those things can be just as bad as porn, addiction is bad, no matter what, alcohol and smoking addictions can PHYSICALLY kill people, porn at least doesn't destroy your lungs and your kidneys ect. The worst physically porn does is on energy and reproduction systems, but smoking and drinking can KILL you physically from the inside out. I don't think any addiction is better then another.

Same story here. I got the basic information eventually from a sex-ed film we watched in school. But even that was barely sufficient information.

  18. You think porn can´t physically kill people? I don´t want to know how many people committed suicide, because of it.
Of course the official reason for the suicide will always be depression, but how many people got depressed because of their porn addiction in the first place?
I won´t argue with you what addiction is better, because there is no answer for that question. But what is undeniable is that porn is way more acessible than any other drug. Even for alcohol and cigarettes, you have to physically leave the house to get them. Porn is basically available everytime you open your laptop or unlock your phone, which makes it that more tempting.

Unfortunately my only sexual education came from experience and internet, later on from school, but I already knew everything. I never understood how kids are born. I never knew that men have seed... The questions raised when I got sticky underpants in the morning some times, and when I saw Ming in P (thought that it was just peeing), and tried to do the same action myself and that was the first time I was shocked by the fact, that something else can come out of my private part  And that was also the beginning of my slavery (I was 12 at that time).

I believe that my parents didn't tell me on how these things are done, because they thought that I will learn it in school at the proper time, and when they heard that I understand all these things, they didn't worry about it, at least I guess so. I hope they never learn that I have gone through such horrible things just to learn how kids are born..

  20. never had it...i would have run away actually. It would have been to weird. Never talked to my parents about anything important i choose to learn it from others my age...and totally from P
