The internet is a temptation but life is full of temptation. One of the best things about nofap is taking the time to learn to handle temptation and develop your will power.

Temptation is in many forms. If it's not polishing your tool, it's getting drunk or buying crap don't need, countless things. Cancelling the internet won't remove temptation from your life.

I don't think you can take the home internet thing too seriously. For a gambler, it is like having a casino in the house, and for a porn addict, it is like having the Playboy mansion, a stripclub, and brothel all rolled up into one in your basement or bedroom or your kid's bedroom, or wherever. I was on the verge of scrapping my computers myself. Have you tried locking down your PCs with software?

Software like K9 internet protection where you set the password to something you can't remember and then rip up the paper you wrote it on.

I hope it helps. It is one piece of this monstrous puzzle. While I sort of believe that you can take some things too seriously, securing your home so that it can be a home and feel like a home is not going overboard or being overzealous. Keep trying new things until you kill this thing, and if it comes down to cancelling the internet, so be it.
