I use autosuggestions daily and write them into my diary. I will stand in front of my mirror and do pep talk. And believe it or not, it does work.

Why not? Do whatever helps you. Just coz someone else thinks doing something is a stupid idea, it is one for them, not for you. When a person feels ashamed for not aligning with others’ ideals, that person is disrespecting oneself.

It'll pay off later. I'm willing to change myself but it's not easy.
