It feels greater than sex because you did it before you ever had sex. It was your first ever orgasm, and you continued to do it until slowly you became comfortable with tit. Comfortable escalating the type of content you view in the comfort of your bed, or with the door locked while you’re on the toilet.

When you have sex, especially after that, your brain has subconsciously become more comfortable masturbating. More comfortable with all the choices. Without worrying about another person you have to please being involved.

Masturbation is not better than sex, it’s just what you’re used to.

The content of Porn, both soft core than is found on social media (that lead to triggers, urges, etc.) and the videoed act of sex, also wired in most of us, that we will (i) not be competent in bed (last unreasonable long, give our partner an orgasm, or have a sizeable member, (ii) it is safer to masturbate (no chance of humiliation, rejection, etc.).

Just "Rewire" your mind. You'll be fine.

Agreed. I think humans are a very adaptable species. Meaning if we truly partake in hard mode NoFap, and even when we relapse we do our best to restart with no binge,

sooner or later we’ll find ourselves no longer even wanting to go back to PMO, and have built up the confidence to just approach women we have an interest in.

I believe (from personal experience) that is is easier to do when you have someone or people that you become accountable to (significant other). While I did give up on porn for myself, I do attribute the success to replacing the time I spent viewing porn alone and depressed, to being out with others, whether it is a family cookout, game night with the cousins, or just talking with some very close friends.

Okay I was starting to disagree with you, but you clutched it. Yes it’s good to have someone or people that you become accountable to, but it’s super important that you’re “why” for continuing to do NoFap or choosing not to succumb to urges isn’t “for them” and you still retain the “for you” bit.

It can get super murky in your own head over time when you’re doing it FOR your partner, or FOR someone you like. And the relapse will be 20x hard too.
