Enjoying my 2nd week at the new job. Clinic is such a huge change from long term care. And 8 hr days is great compared to 12 hr nights.

Work has been great. I don't 'have to' go to work. I 'get to' go to work. It's a privilege to take care of children and families.

Today has been a better day so far. Under a ton of stress. God will use that to teach and form me. The enemy wants to destroy me with it.

All is not lost, so much has been gained. And there is much more to gain from continuing down this path. This is just a little snag.

But He is familiar with my weakness. He doesn't condemn me for it. He calls me to 'sit in His lap', and draw closer to Him.

Resetting is a bummer for sure. But perspective is so important. I haven't lost God's love. I used to think He would withdraw love.

My streak was 135 days. 4 and a half months.

I'll post more details in my journal when I get the chance.

I look at it this way: I've masturbated once since June 5th, 2017. No excuses. Reset, and move on.

I'm not discouraged, only a little disappointed in stopping my streak.

I'm resetting my counter. No porn, but did engage with psub when I woke up this AM, then ended up rubbing, culminated in ejaculation.

More training today. Computer systems, pretty easy stuff. Praise God, new job is going well. Will be commuting until December.

Started the new job today! Mostly orientation this week, love this place!

Another day to trust my Father in heaven, and to enjoy His presence and favor.

Final shift at the old job is almost over. Actually not a bad night at all. Monday starts the new workplace and #newseason for us. Word!

I'll be working at an outpatient children's clinic in a prestigious hospital. Thank you God for such an incredible opportunity!

I'll be working 8 hour days, no weekends, no holidays. Great benefits and health insurance as well.

And I'm about to start my final 12 hour nursing shift on the behavioral wing of the nursing home. New job in pediatrics begins Monday!

130 days. This is without a doubt the longest I've gone without M in 33+ years. It feels great.
