1000 day challenge

Hey, not to rain on your parade, but such a goal is way too distant in the future for the challenge to work.
There will be moments when the only option seems to be a relapse: what are you going to tell yourself in those moments?

"Ugghh...just 974 days left...gotta be strong!!!"?

Set up a day counter here on NF or on your phone and then forget about the days. If you feel like it could help when triggered, look at how far you have already gone, not how many days it will be before the challenge is over.

Maybe start with something smaller, 7 days etc and when you achieve it,move to another goal: 14 days, 21 days, and so on. Step by step, otherwise I agree with WatchMeRise: too distant and intangible goals can be discouraging.

That is exactly my goal. 365, then 500+, then 1000+... Just looking forward. Full gas!

 

PM streak seems real but PMO streak dont seems real for 1000 days.

 

After 100+ days here I still don't understand what does PMO really stand for.
Does it mean that O. is allowed only as a side effect of wet dreams?
No O. for 1000+ days is definitely a stretch.

 

You can have a wet dream and not have that count as a relapse.

 

Yes wet dreams dont count as relapse but edging does. Also many guys on here have PMO streak in their tracker despite that they are having sex, so their streaks are actually PM streaks not PMO streaks since they had orgasm even if its sex with a wife. You can see that these guys struggle real badly to stay away from PM when when they havent had sex for 30-60 days. So 90 day of no PMO streak might harder than years of no PM streak.

 

Edging counts in M. Its as damaging as masturbation.

Edging is M without O. Which to me, sounds like a recipe for blue balls.

 

Only time will tell. Mine got a little bigger and more straight when I stopped M every month.
