45 days is a good streak. Start a new streak as soon as possible without dwelling on your relapse.

How did you relapse? What led to your relapse?

I find that most relapses happen around casual social media use

Welcome to the community! You're in a good place. I would recommend connecting with other relatable members as well as starting a daily journal in the 'Reboot Logs' section.

45 days is really amazing. Though I understand the frustration and feeling of defeat, dust yourself off and get back at it.

Being consistent (multiple times a day) on this forum has really been a deciding factor on my recent success in recovery. I've been a member for 5+ years but have never been this consistent. As a result, I've put more time together than I ever have. Consistency is key.

Again, welcome to the community. Wishing you the best!

45 days is awesome! I’m on day 2 I hope I can be as strong as you’ve been.
Like everyone else has said, don’t dwell on the set back. Push forward, next time you’ll do even better. Then this will be a thing of the past.

On 45th day whole night I was not able to sleep. I was errect almost whole night. Not able to focus on new thing. So thought to clear it off. And start a new streak. I don't know whether I have done a right thing. But this time my Target is 100 days. Kindly share your experiences too.

Sharing my experience of 45 days.
Stay strong till 15 days. After that 15 to 30 days, I was more spiritual. I started attending spiritual functions. From 30 to 40 days mind will be in control. Mind will listen to you. After 40 days errection starts to hit. On 45th day I was not able to sleep because of errection. And finally relapsed. Going on 2 streak now.
Wishing you all the best. Stay strong.

What triggered your arousal? Did you entertain fantasy? Were you engaged on social media? Or was this purely a physical arousal?

Do you recommend deleting Facebook? I will do if it will help

I would get rid of Facebook. I find it tough to stay abstinent from PMO and maintain a casual social media use. There is way too much information on Facebook that's designed to be triggering emotionally, sexually or otherwise.

I think you did the right thing with FB.

If you look in your NoFap Inbox, you should have received an automated message when you signed up with the instructions.

45 days is a great streak! What are you trying to stop: PMO, porn, MO, or all the mentioned?

My longest streak is maybe 57 days, I don't think I have done better than that. My goal here is to stop viewing porn and cut back on MO. I don't think I would want to stop MO completely, especially if I needed to do it to go to sleep. I'm married, and I don't have a good reason to be doing MO since I have the option to have sex with my wife. She goes to bed before me and if I don't make the effort first she's asleep before we can have sex. Some nights I then want to MO, but I'm trying to get through those nights without MO to save sex for my wife.

It was purely a physical arousal. I was in control of my mind not to watch the stuff.

I want to stop PMO completely. I am on my 4th day streak after my relapse. Since I have not watched more p*** on the day of relapse, my recovery is good. Even on 4th day my skin is glowing. I want to be spiritual and leave pleasure from senses.

Deleting is good choice, uninstall FB, Insta and Twitter. Keep yourself away from distraction. Avoid YouTube at after 9pm.

Avoid Triggers from social media. Force yourself to be spiritual. Only God will help you till you are in control of your mind.
