    Hi guys,

5 days in to my reboot and iv relapsed, the urge is strong.

Iv recently identified my porn addiction is a real problem and after reading "your brain on porn" iv realised that porn may have been affecting me unconsciously since i was 18, I'm 32 now and dedicated to stopping. I thought i was alone in this but its refreshing to see so many other people in the same situation, looking forward to the future and any help or encouragement is much appreciated

  2. Said the same thing to a few other people but it's good so:

I suggest you find an accountability partner or two (at a similar age) to build deeper connections and accountability on this platform. It's helped me a lot (and you can meet cool people).

I think that currently the best path for you is to not worry and exert so much energy into maintaining a streak. Rather, I'd spend more energy learning more about what you're up against and how you can beat this addiction. It'll give you a "shortcut" because you don't have to learn everything about quitting p through your own experiences which takes a long time. You'll be amazed by how much there is to learn and improve on.

There are a lot of good resources available. I (and others) highly recommend Universal Man's content (youtube), namely his Man of Action series and Sexual Self Mastery series. Some others I know like *** and Noah Church as well, though you don't have to get everything from youtube.

The key is to constantly improve and never stop trying. :)

Of course if you are in a rush to quit p, as in you need to asap, then you should probably get coaching or a therapist or something.

Best of luck to you on your journey.
